  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What's with "The Hole"??

I've found that on larger knives (Vaquero for instance), that the thumb stud actually helps me follow through with the opening. Especially if the blade action is kept tighter so that there is no play in the blade. I must agree that overall, especially on smaller folders, the hole is what I have found to be the best!

Oh yeah, I caught my brother blowing bubbles with his Endura while he was cleaning it. Can't do that with a stud or disk.

'Nuff said?
LMAO

The hole has always been my top choice in opening methods. Easy to locate even in a hurry, no worries about my thumb slipping off and having a "misfire", comfort, etc....

That being said, I have to go on record and agree with Sal about the Chris Reeve thumbstud. Of all the different models I have used it is by far the best.

BTW Ken,

You so funny!
