What's wrong with foliage green?

Foliage green also is a great color with a nice patina on the blade :D

For those who didn't know, foliage green is the same color as ACU gray, so it blends quite well with the ACU and some other camouflage patterns. I like it because it's subdued, but a bit more interesting than the usual black.

But hey, my favorite color for most gear is coyote brown. De gustibus non est disputandum.

I really don't know what you said here...If Foliage green is ACU Gray, why are there two names, and why is one Green and the other Gray?
Various outfits (namely paracord and kydex makers) are using both names to describe the same color. It seems to vary, so it's really several shades of grayish-green being lumped together as foliage green/ACU gray. There really is only one ACU gray (the color on the uniform), but everybody has their own take on FG. For instance, DuraCoat makes one ACU gray, and at least three different foliage greens.

So what I should've said is, "some permutations of foliage green, such as the shade used by Spyderco, are approximately the same color as ACU gray."
