I love sandwiches, and i was just wondering what your all time fave was. For me id have to say a sloppy joe with turkey, and swiss with lots of coleslaw

That's like picking your favorite child...

I like a nice Club Sandwich, or a Hot Pastrami on Rye, don't forget the Bacon Cheeseburger, on Fridays my favorite deli has a hot Beef Briscit (now I know what I'm having for lunch tommorow), there's a place on Potrero Hill that has a great Chicken Salad with curry that by all logic I shouldn't like but that I just love, but sometimes a Grilled Cheese hits the spot...

Damn you for bringing this up right before I hit the sack!

Knuckle.

I try not to eat too many though. :)

Never liked the processed meats. Leftover meat products from dinner usually are ok.

Beef luncheon tongue, on inch-thick slices of fresh crusty bloomer, spread with English butter.

Andrew.

My favorite sandwich is a shrimp salad with BACON, lettuce, tomato and mayo on toast.

I had two yesterday with 3 ears of sweet corn. :D

No Buts, it's got to be Butter!

Actually, I use low fat spread most of the time, but you need an occasional treat!

Andrew.

Right now my favorites are a corned beef on rye with a lot of mustard or a pork french dip from Phillipe's in Los Angeles.

Bacon bacon baon lettus tomatoe on brown with mayo :D you can never have enough bacon :D :D

I'm on Atkins (lost 91 lbs) so no sammiches for me.
But I can dream. :)
Good old PBJ on white is appealing right now.
So is grilled cheese in any form, though I like swiss, provolone, or white american with tomato. :)
A good BLT with fresh tomato, green leaf lettuce, on soft pumpernickel or wheat bread... yum.
Sloppy joes are always good- cole slaw, like memphis style bbq, always perks up a sandwich.
Roast beef with horseradish and tomato is also good.
But fave of all faves is a kaiser roll with genoa salami, fresh tomato, white american cheese, and mayo. Now you can see why I needed to lose 90lbs!!! :P

A Reuben is one of my favorites: a grilled sandwich of corned beef, Swiss cheese, and sauerkraut on rye bread, spread with some Russian or Thousand Island dressing. This sandwich is great with a bowl of French Onion Soup.

BLTs are great, but it's hard to beat a big ole PepperJack bacon cheeseburger.

Cannibal sammich...
Dark Rye, ultra lean ground beef... raw, sweet onions, salt n' peppa, cholula optional. :D

Mesquite Smoked turkey breast, Pepperjack cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayo on a Portuguese roll. :D

Ham & Swiss Cheese in battered bread coated with powdered sugar and served with strawberry preserve. hmmm. ;)

There is a chain of resturants running across MS,AR, and I believe the south western part of TN called McAllisters. A big old glass of their sweet tea, and a 'BigNasty' will make anyones day. Wheat or white bread, roast beef, gravy, and two cheeses...Mmmm good! After that though you better have a friend with you, or a stretcher handy to help you back to the car.

Another vote for the Monte Cristo, but without the sugar and jam. Now I am hungry! But now I have lots of great lunch ideas!
