  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What's your at work knife and your occupation?

Lawyer, work from home - where I have a wall full of knives by my desk and usually a pistol on me. At court I carry...nothing but a pen and a cell phone.

I'm an owner operator of a demolition business. I carry a Kershaw Blur the most, but rotate through 16 other Kershaw knives as well.

A basic threat assessment would show a lawyer is more dangerous with a pen than a pistol:D

Professional Engineer- Mechanical design, structural...
Part owner of and Designer for a tactical hardware company...

I carry:Leatherman Juice, and currently a BM710-2, a BM581, and a Kershaw RAM

I'm a software engineer, so I don't need a knife to do my job. I do, however, have a knife with me at work. Usually a Small Sebenza, Caly 3, mini grip, Fällkniven U1, meer-kat and/or ladybug. I never carry anything larger than a large Sebenza.

I'm a welder. I carry a Leatherman Wave in a belt pouch and carry an Emerson Super CQC-7 in my pocket.

Electrician; On the belt a Buck 112 or 110,a Leatherman Wave, clipped lfp an AO,Watch pocket some sort of peanut

I do construction and the one that never changes is the leatherman rebar. Lately I've been carrying either an esee 4 or bm 908 as my primary knife.

Retail/fundraising/warehouse/etc. - I do a little bit of everything.
My rotation is small (so far) - 556 grip, Delica 4 and a Skyline.

Optician, so when in the office- normally a Benchmade 531 or US made Kershaw Zing. Sometimes a junk knife, just because. A Victorinox Mechanic, Gerber EAB, multi-tool all ride in the tool bag.

During my time in the service, 1976-2002, CRKT M16-02 or Marzitelli Prowler. The Prowler I would be willing to buy again. M16-02, not so much.

Pretty cool thread-

Machinist here as well- always have my Leatherman Wave (now I carry in a Maxpedition single sheath on my belt), Benchmade Ritter Mini-grip, and a Fenix P2D or LD12 light with me for work.

Leatherman and flashlight get the most use. Leatherman saves me trips back to my toolbox when I need a screwdriver for table screws, and for pulling sticky pins quickly out of a fixture.
