What's your at work knife and your occupation?

Fencing Coach: On the job...SwissChamp, PocketWrench, some flavor of stockman (Case, MooreMaker, Schlieper, etc.).

First class merchant marine officer(captain ) and I carry a mini grip and a gerber 06 auto as my edc and i use the hell out of both. I must say the 154 cm hold a edge longer than the s30v of the 06 but who cares both are great knives and both have excellent steel behind them. Can't wrong with either one

Restaurant Mngt.
I carry a larger locking folder in my right pocket for tougher jobs and a traditional slipjoint in my right watch pocket for public/light use. For example:
Spyd Millie or Endura + GEC #23
Emerson CQC-15 + GEC Barlow
BM 755 MPR + Case Anything

I work in an office but occasionally still get out. I normally carry a Skeletool and a Micra or Wenger Clipper. When I do SAR or EMT work it could be anything from a Para 2 to a Sebenza but I always have my Supertool 300 or Leatherman Charge on my belt.

Meat cutter / butcher at a grocery store . USually a mini grip, or brown ffg delica 4 pAired with a sak super tinker.

Teacher/Archaeologist...When in the office, an Explorer Plus SAK usually. When doing archaeology field school, a Swiss Champ.

Wildlife ecologist (research). Mostly I work in S. Africa and Kenya. Leatherman, hands down, is the most commonly carried 'knife'. I carry a Charge Ti, most of my S. African colleagues and techs use Waves. Also, we have the heaviest machetes available locally. African hardwoods and rocks eat machetes. For the occasional wildlife mortality, or dinner, I have a Kershaw Packrat, plus a box full of butcher knives. Back in the office in Kentucky, a SOG Twitch II.

Large prints & graphic designing. Spyderco Persian 2. Unnecessarily intimidating? Maybe. Awesome? Hell yea! My boss doesn't mind though.

Private/contract security. I carry a Para 2 or Becker BK14, a SAK farmer, and a Wenger PocketChest on my keychain. Wether I carry the folder or the fixed blade all depends on the job I'm at. It's sad people are more afraid of a tiny fixed blade than an assault rifle.

Firefighter. In my EMS hip pack, SAK. In my turn-out gear, a cheap winchester multi-tool and a Mora 511 with a rounded tip. In my uniform, Leatherman Squirt S4 and a Spyderco Persistence. At a good car wreck, I'm wearing all of it. :)

Bushcraft Instructor.

Always a slipjoint of some sort; usually Buck 301. Fixed one of; Fallkniven TK2, Bushcraft Woodlore type Knife or Gossman Modified UNK. Also regularly carry Gransfors SFA and folding saw.

Art Director. Creating layout for magazines with Adobe InDesign all day long. Nice and creative work. A BM Sequel 707 is in my right front pocket most of the time. A big little knife that grows on me more and more. It´s a perfect urban edc!

Union film worker. I usually carry a Sage I or II , a Caly3, or the Rock Lobster. All Spydercos.
