What's Your Body Type? (Yes, It's Relevant)

Looks like I'm an outlier here. 5'6" 135lbs. Small hands. Carry a Kershaw Double Cross in my fifth pocket or Kershaw Leek clipped in my right hip pocket. Or both. FWIW the Leek is about as big a folder as can fit my hand comfortably. Now you know why I'm so excited to get my Busse Bear Cub...

6'3" 230lbs no where near in the best shape of my life, but i am getting there. i get stronger but i dont loose any weight. best way to describe my build is a typical baseball outfielder. i carry my knife in with the clip. only will carry on the waistband if i have a GOOD kydex sheath. I.E. has to fit right and only go across (thus why i wont do IWB)

5'10", 175 lbs with a small frame and small/medium hands. I carry clipped in right front pocket since I starting buying knives with clips.

Five and a half with change. 200 with barrel chest ( I like my big belly, draws attention away from the face). Size large hand with gnarly little fingers. Fifth Pocket clipped. I carry either my Lahar or my Blur that way. No problems at all with accessibility.

You guys are ruining my statistics!

Kidding, I'm actually jotting all of this down so I can make some comparisons. Although, it doesn't seem unbiased that I ask this question in a forum that has members that predominantly use Kershaw, and hence, pocket clips. Crap, I've ruined my statistics!

Keep discussing though, please. This is interesting.

5' 11" 135lbs. Being a student I only carry with a pocket clip since it wouldn't go over too well carrying a fixed or neck knife. Over the summer or while doing yard work I'll carry my RC-4 on my belt, right side around 3:30

I'm 6'3" 255 lbs and I carry one clipped in the right front and one clipped in the right rear pocket. I keep the lock on the
Scallion as it has opened up twice before. It's always tip down. No cuts though. I do carry my Shallot tip up because the large (heavy) end is down, should stay in my pocket better. I may rethink that though.

5'9, 240, walking fire hydrant. Tip up front right pocket clip carry.

I carry the occasional fixed blade horizontally on my belt, or a small CRKT Ringer or Bear Claw.

Aside from that, the only thing I carry on my belt is a gun unless I have my shirt tucked in for business, then I trade the stuff in a pocket (cell phone, etc) for the gun on my hip, and they just swap places.

5'8, 130lbs, and small hands; slender but fit. I usually clip to my left front pocket (lefty). Nothing ever in the back pockets (it's annoying on the butt-bone).

My usual EDCs:
RAM - Tip up left handed
Delica Wave - Tip up left
Bump - No clip because there's no place for it at the moment; ideally tip up

6'2" and 300 plus change. If it has a clip, it's in the RF. If it has a pouch, it is on the belt. I carry mostly clips.

6'4" Tall, ~300 lbs.

Primary rides in front right pocket, and secondary rides in rear right pocket.

Sounds like I'm not the only big dude here...

6'5" 245lbs
Front right pocket - clipped, left - clipped, keychain with crkt turtle.
Usually another flipper or two in a car (to help through occasional traffic)

5'10" 195lbs. Carry w pocket clip in front right pocket. Mostly tip up. In same front right pocket I carry a Buck 55.

6'1" and 180#, with an angular Scandinavian-type build. Carry folders clipped to the front pocket. And FWIW when I want to carry a small fixed blade -- Becker BK11 preferred -- I'm equally comfortable with it in front or back pocket.

At first glance I thought "another dumb question" but you do have a point and a good one. 6' 2" 210 lbs. right handed. I carry a Buck Alpha Hunter folder in a belt sheath inline with the belt over my right side pocket. Sheath opens to the front so I can get it out use it and back easily one handed.
I have been carrying a knife for 50 years now and would feel naked with out it. Some times I carry several.

5'10", 200 lb. ("I'm in shape...'round' is a shape..."), right-handed. Clip in right-front pocket in jeans. Sometimes dropped into the pocket at work (biz-casual).

5'9" 200+ (working on the +) typical is right front pocket clip. also a left rear pocket clip and a neck knife (at least at work). non work situations is just right front clipped. always tip up if its an option.

A shade under 6' 190 w/ bigish hands. I carry clipped IWB, behind belt, about 1oclock; clip in r-front pocket; and a slim knife standing up next to my wallet in my right back pocket.
