What's your current EDC rotation?

I have replaced my EDC for the moment. I have carried a medium Carson M4 almost daily for approximately 2 years now. Well, last week, I received a large Carson M16 with carbon fiber scales and stellite blade. The knife is amazing.

So, my current EDC is a Carson M16 stellite and a leatherman micra and photon on the keychain. My CCW permit should finally be processed within the next week or so. So I'm looking to be adding an HK USP9compact or P7m8 to the EDC.

I ordered both knives directly from the makers. Bob Dozier's knives can be found at Dozier Knives . Jens Anso's knives can be found at Anso Knives .

The ANSO is a beautiful fixed blade that people never object to. If anything, they want to see and touch it themselves. :) The Dozier is for the hard work, and when the doodoo hits the fan. :D

EDC haas changed a bit:rolleyes: still lookin' for that perfect combo
work - multi tool - Buck tool on duty belt constant use
- beater knife - trusty Buck 110 on belt

EDC bush carry - Michael Copper jumbo folder. This one is is replacing a fixed blade it is that good!:)

Today, Spyderco FRN Endura SE, Micortech Kestrel PE, and a Swamprat Bandicoot and Leatherman Pulse in the car.

Ok, here is my EDC blade list:

Percentages are how much of the time I carry it overall, not compared to the others in a given class. I normally have 4 or 5 folders on me any given day.

Fixed Blades: None, but will probably add a CRKT Plan B or Crawford/Kasper Companion soon.

Extra Large Folders: None

Large Folders:
BM 550 Griptillian (95%+)
Spyderco C48 Wegner Clipit CE (50%)
Spyderco Spyderhawk (50%)
Spyderco Rescue (old style FRN clip)(30%)

Medium Folders:

BM 555 Mini Griptillian (50%)

Small Folders:
Spyderco Navigator PE G10 Scales (80%)

Victo Cadet w/ Alox handles (95%+)
Victo Midnight Manager (90%+)
Victo Cybertool 34 (90%+)
SOG Paratool (25%)
Leatherman PST (25%)

Not very exotic stuff, but it all works very very well and covers my needs nicely. There are also about 6 different small flashlights that I rotate through as EDC as well, with a ARC AAA in turqoiuse and a Surefire E2-HA getting the most use.

Can't speak about rotation very much...

... because since I got my small (Pao Ferro inlay) Sebenza, it's been all I need.

And I feel naked wihtout my LM Wave.

Well, on the other hand I want to keep with me a little bit bigger knife too. I need it sometimes to cut cardboard boxes, plastic etc. at work (don't want to use Sebbie for that and Wave is for wire cutting, screws etc. )
Anyway, during wintertime it's d/a Sere in my briefcase and during summertime d/a LCC in my backpack.
So, there is little bit rotation, isn't there? ;) :)

My current EDC choices are the Spydie SS/PE Delica, PE Leek, CFN/50-50 Delica, Scallion black/PE and the SAK Soldier.

I thought I would take the opportunity to update my response since this thread has popped back up to the top. You can add two Spydies the Rookie SS/PE and the Peter Herbst PE models. And you can take off the Soldier. It's a great knife but I just like having my knives clipped to my right rear pocket since they are easier to get to.

Right now it has been...

BM 551 75%
BM 806D2 20%
Spyderco Dragonfly FRN 5%(When I'm out for a few drinks in the city!)

Bob Dozier Straight Personal on the belt and Benchmade BM31 balisong in the pocket. I carry both of these almost every day, though for just quick errands or time when the Dozier may be in my way a little I will just take the BM31.

BM556 plain 95% in RFP
Spyderco Navigator in RFP the other 5%
Outdoor edge Original Wedge in my coat pocket 100%

They are CHEAP, but that doesn't rule out getting GREAT knves!

My Folding EDC stands like this,
1. Strider GB, this is the almost constant carry piece.
2. Camillus Madd Maxx
3. REKAT Sifu
4. Microtech Socom Elite
5. Microtech Kestrel
6. Camillus 154cm EDC
7. Spyderco FRN Native
8. Delta Z Red Maple Osprey
9. BM 710
10. BM old AFCK
Frequently these are carried in pairs. A large folder for big times and a small sheeple friendly knife for those public occasions where a Sifu or Strider would scare someone. I have a Spyderso Gunting and Drone coming in this week. After a Brams Class that might see constant carry with the GB. We will see.

Strider AR (S30V) in Gary Graley (G2) sheaths(2-dark brown either RH, LH carry or 1 black RH carry) for versatility.

Michael Vagnino 3" Ti framelock w/ carbon fiber S30V marked Prtotype (sheeple friendly)

Kershaw Chive in black boron carbide as money clip

Just seems to cover anything I need a knife for, and with all the knives I have( 150 custom, and production)these always seem to end up with me all the time.:)

Alright today we have,

RF: BM 730 Ares, Gerber Silver Knight, Kershaw Chive

LF: BM Ascent, Queen Serpentine Jack, Spyderco SS Dragonfly

LR, Spydercard, in wallet

RR Custom Bud Nealy Blued O1 Aikuchi

WP Rocky Mosier CA Legal Auto

In my jacket, two cheap knock offs to lend to people who insist on borrowing a knife, and not buying their own. The cheap knives work but not as good as my EDC's, I've already had one guy go and buy a Buck Crosslock because I would only lend him a cheap knife.

One by one I'll covert the world.

edited cause I forgot 1

Just got a new Titanium Spyderco Minature Police necklace knife, man is that sucker sharp.

It's always fun to go back and look at what you posted a while back and what it is now. On November 11th I posted that I carried a couple of different J.W. Smith folders or a Mike Obenauf large model 2. Still trade time between the Smith's and the Obie's. Right now though it is the large model 2 framelocks by Mike that are getting most of the carry time. I can see that changing a little as soon as I get the LDC-5 I sent John for a steel back spacer and new clip placement! Still carry the Buck Prince everyday!
