What's your current EDC rotation?

At work I carry a wonderful stag handled Geno Denning "C" Model. It's short, sharp, and to the point.

I carry a MT SOCOM MA or Chris Reeve Mountaineer I out among the rabble.
A BM 705 is clipped in my pocket the rest of the time.

Well, my EDC has changed since Christmas...
I went up to Ohio to visit the "In-laws" and could'nt resist stopping by SMKW along the way.
I bought a Christmas gift for myself: A Spyderco G-10 Police (plain-edged)!
It's an awesome knife and has replaced the Benchmade 555 as my EDC.

At work I've been carrying my Kershaw Scallion (combo-edge)--and it has become my favorite small one-hander.

I'm also moving in to a new house, so my Gerber Pro-Scout has been on my side for several weeks now, and it has saved me many many trips to the tool-box!
I go back and forth between the Leatherman PST and the Gerber, but the locking tools, more comfortable handle, and the quick access to the pliars made the Gerber the clear victor.

My Leatherman Micra is also no longer an EDC. I just can't seem to find the right mini-multi-tool.
However, with the Pro-Scout on my side I guess I really don't need a mini-multi-tool anyway.

Good luck,
Allen.

well for now I always have my bm afck in the front pocket, and as long as I am wearing jeans I have a MOD Razorback in the small of my back. for my neck i rotate between a mini peshkab or one of steve corkum's offerings. but very soon my edc is going to have to rotate more, I am recieving to elishiwitzes in the next 2 weeks:) not to shabby for a college student.

I always carried either a Benchmade AFCK or an Endura with a small SAK until Christmas this year. My three year old daughter insisted she wanted to get a knife for Daddy and picked one out herself. Now, my EDC will always be a little Buck Access and either an Endura or AFCK.:)

Well, like a lot of people, my EDC has changed a bit.

Now it's more like:

Emerson Minicommander: 70%
Spyderco Lil' Temperance: 15%
EDC du jour: 15%

The Ayoob isn't carried as much anymore. I don't know why. It's a great knife, very thin and light. I almost don't even know that it's in my pocket, which is impressive for such a big knife.

The Lil Temperance has lost some ground as well. Another great knife, sharp as heck, and with a terrific grip. Just doesn't fit into my slacks as well as the mini-commander. I carry it in jeans, which is unfortunately not all that often.

On a side note, I've changed some of my other equipment a bit. I've stopped carrying my photon II, and changed over to a ARC AAA. Also, I've recently added a LM Squirt P4 - which is awesome (Thanks, Santa!)

Amazing how an old thread can rise from the grave. It's still very amusing. I especially like seeing how people's EDC rotation has changed.

My old standby and favorite EDC is a Benchmade 710. But my Emerson SOCFK spearpoint gets some time too, but I find it less useful because it has serrations and an unmarred black coating on the blade  This last week I've been playing with a couple Christmas presents to myself, a Spyderco Military and a tanto SOCFK that I just finished satinizing. I find it much less stressful to buy black coated blades already used ;)

Generally it rotates between Benchmade 806, 710, Spydie Starmate( clip modified for tip-up), Spydie Wegner, Reeve Stars-n-Stripes Sebenza or CRKT Walker with auto conversion. I always have an Umfaan and Photon light on my keychain, and a Mnundi in my shirt pocket, if wearing a shirt so equipped. Notice these are all tip-up carry knives? I have gotten used to this method of carry, so using anything tip down would slow me down in an emergency. The Umfaan is the workhorse. The larger EDC is used sparingly so that the edge is sharp for emergency use.

710HSSR....almost always

Queen D2 Cattle King stockman/Cocobolo....frequently

Al Mar SERE 2000....now and then

I also use everyday a Inova X5; and a Leatherman ST200 quite a bit.

Due to a bunch of trading and buying and bidding, my current EDC is:

1. JW Smith Monolock Flipper
2. MT auto Amphibian (looking for a replacement for the Cutter/Brend)
3. DDR Bullnose Maxx (yeah I've got a thing for framelock flippers)
4. BM 942 (the most abused knife I've got)
5. Hen & Rooster Cattleman
6. And occasionally in place of the JW Smith, an Andre De Villier's Pathfinder

At least thats the EDC for this week, as I'm waiting on a Hinderer Fire Tac which will have to fit in there somewhere.

It varies, depending on what new toy is added to my collection. I usually try to carry one PE and one SE knife on me; I just don't like CE blades. What I carry depends on what I am wearing and/or where I'm going. My current rotation is:

1. Microtech LCC M/A (PE)
2. Spyderco Military (SE)
3. Spyderco SS Endura (SE)
4. Spyderco G10 Civilian
5. Buck/Strider
6. Kershaw Rainbow Leek
7. Spyderco Police Model (PE)
8. Benchmade Tether (Set up for belt carry with a Tek-Lok)

I think I've owned, through trading and buying and having a brother who also loves knives, every production knife made. Through all those knives I've setteled on:
Spyderco Renegade/ combo edge
Spyderco Delica/ plain edge
Sak-Manager
Seber-tech
Old John Primble Congress
For fixed blade carry-Rob Criswell Wharncliff

My current, and what I consider my primary edc is my J.W. Smith LDC-5 that I just got back from John. The clip was moved to very top of the bolster for more concealed carry and a stainless backspacer was made to replace the micarta spacer to give more solid feel, strength, and a little extra weight.
