What's your dream knife?

Either an Emerson ES1M or Brend Model 2 8.5" in Talonite would be kind of nice. I guess this would cover both folder and fixed.

Regards,

Ed

A Commander in Infi with either an Axis lock or a mono lock.

Shawn.

Or DDR's sword. I have seen pictures. but cant find a link right now.

Warenski Price/Bradford (CA) Dagger. Engraving and gold inlay by Sam Alfano or Tim Herman.

Emeralds on the studs in gold bezels with huge black lip pearl slabse just flat all duded up with sheath engraved and inlayed also.

(Dreaming big time here).

I hope that some day I will own a original 19th century push dagger or at least a true to original copy!

I've always had a hankerin' for a Rainy Vallotton Icepick w/purple Ti liners and bolsters, mastadon ivory, and damascus. Problem is if I bought it I'd end up carrying it and using it. That would be insane...

;)

I don't think I have a dream knife but I have a knife dream: to be able to go to the Blade Show one day with a big fat wad of money in my pocket.

I used to think it would be a Sebenza, but I really like the thoughts from Glockman on the CS Recon Scout, and Shootists dream Wegner. That would rule!!!!

Emerson ES-1M with Talonite blade, satin finished rainbow anodized Ti bolsters, jeweled and blue anodized liners, MOP scales.

Or a talonite Emerson Bodyguard fixed blade.

Mine doesn't have to be expensive.

Spyderco Military in VG-10 with Axis lock and double liners.

And let's make it 5" instead of 4" while we're at it.

I'm another of those who would most like an Ed Fowler Pronghorn. Tho, like Dave suggested, those Bowies he makes look awfully good too. But, the Pronghorn will have to do. That's what I ordered.

Hey Eric!

Mine has been and will most probably ever be an Emerson CQC-6, can't beat the looks of that one!
Has been many knives that'd caught my fancy over the years but the '6 stands out :)

Can't go wrong with Emerson (even though i've never held a '6, yet...)

I don't collect knives. I only use them. If they sit too long in the box, I sell them.

That being said, my dream knife is a functional piece, and it has a name: the Benchmade 705 in plain edge. Has everything I like in a knife--a utilitarian 3" blade, G-10 scales, good steel (ATS-34), and Axis lock.

Now I just have to save up the cash and get one.

For a user, definitely an Ed Fowler Pronghorn. I'm a knife using kind of guy, and from what I can find out, nothing beats the Pronghorn. I was in a severe car wreck a while back, and when I get my settlement, I plan to get one.

Other than that, a Jerry Fisk Bowie with ivory handle and a silver escutcheon.

My dream knife would be a Phil Boguszewski Wegner Jr with BG-42, titanium liners and maroon checkered scales. I don't know that he even makes Juniors, but I can dream.

A Chris Reeve Large classic woody sebi in spiral damasus in a knife and a real dyed in the wood Japanise folded steel Katana otherwise.

Got my eye on a Unique graphic small classic sebi in Damasus steel, but I am sure it will be sold before I get the cash in a couple of months:(

It may not cost a lot, but my dream knife is a small plain sebenza, with a polished hollow grind, and has my name engraved in it:)

A KFF made by Spyderco with dual steel liners, G10 handle, CPM-440 V blade, round hole and the compression lock. Man, that would be sweet!
