Whats your dream knife?

One along the lines of the original manix with a tri-ad lock and CTS-XHP blade steel. Heh!

All I can do is:

Dream On Dream On Dream On
Dream until your dreams come true
Dream On Dream On Dream On
Dream until your dream comes through
Dream On Dream On Dream On
Dream On Dream On
Dream On Dream On

My thoughts exactly, only
-Make it a Mini, cause my hands are small.
-Give it orange textured G10. Or Micarta.
-Have not tried XHP, but...M4!

Apart from that I would like:
-Something by Ed Schempp (A CUSTOM Khukuri please:) )
because all the designs from him I've tried are really the best. The Khukuri and Barong and Persian have perfect ergos. I'd be happy with any of them, with a back lock for the first two.

That, or (as I posted before) a Spyderco Stretch2 ZDP, with nice wood scales, a CF bolster (I've seen one of those on Phillip Dobson's website, and it's spectacular.), a regrind to 2mm flat, or slightly hollow, and a crowned spine.

That, or a SAK-Huntsman.

Hey, I got MY wish :D

Lockback / tri-ad Large Sebenza
Blue Yojimbo switchblade or Waved Blue Yojimbo.

I was at a Knife Show and made a point of stopping to talk with PJ Tomes; he is a pleasurable man to talk with and makes great knives. I was drooling over several knives I couldn't afford while talking. He then asked me if I would like to see something "nice", I had no idea of what to expect. He removed a small plastic bag from his pocket that held a fabric pouch and there was a folder in the pouch. He offered it to me and I was nervous as Hell as I held it. The workmanship was what I expected and then he started pointing out small details about it that were amazing. I never asked the price I just gave it back to him as quick as I could not wanting to drop it. As we walked away I told my girlfriend I would get one of those from PJ......as soon as I hit the lottery.

When it comes to folders,I've found mine.It is a Buck Custom Shop 110,in BG42,with micarta scales, and nickel silver bolsters(front bolster engraved).Me and the wife went to a new knife shop in Seaside,Oregon just for a look mind you,and there it was.Only problem was, it was in the not for sale section,I said reeeaaally.Anyway,I walked out of the store with it,me and the store owner both done good:cool:.His uncle won't be too happy with him though,as he specified that the knives in this case are not for sale:eek:.Sorry about not posting picks, just figured out how to use icons recently.:o

A Ken Erikson Stockman with the tradional blade patterns: Clip, sheepsfoot, spey. Large size, 4.5" or thereabouts closed. Stag scales.

More I use, more I feel like Queen small Dan Burke Barlow is the knife for me, my dream knife. After getting it few months back... There's nice GEC's and Case Sway Back Jack in my rotation but they usually get paired with that small Dan Burke barlow for folders anyway.

Anything from Carrillo Design....;)

My dream knife which I will have in a couple months (on lay away right now cause I'm laid off) is an Emerson A-100 simple yet elegant in its own way.
