These days it's a couple of Benchmade Axis lock folders in rotation:
model 806D2 - AFCK in D2
model 550 - Griptilian plain edge in 440C
Before I moved to the Axis lock, I carried for many years a Cold Steel 34LT Voyageur (AUS8 stainless 4" tanto blade), which was a very lightweight-in-the-pocket carry.
great thread...Severtech Auto for me...the absolute finest
mean mill bastard...but I just picked up a Darrel Ralph
Cuda Maxx 5.5...I'm carry that for awhile to have something
different in my pocket...a very mysterious knife by the way.
Left front pocket:
Strider AR or
Emerson CQC6 or
Large Sebenza
Right front pocket I carry a small Case "Doctors knife" as to not scare our non knife carrying brethern.
Awaiting a TNT, the Strider SNG................and Jerry's!!!
(nudge nudge hint hint!)
For the past two weeks my new Emerson Mini CQC-7A, and before that various Spydercos.
I also carry a Buck "Colt" Stockman (a gift from my parents 20 years ago) or a SAK "Recruit" so as not to scare the people (sheeple?) who just don't get it.
Sometimes, if I feel...'back to nature'. I carry my Joseph Rodgers Slipjoint.yes yes, cheap and nasty, but I do not care if she goes missing...
I have a CQC8 (surefire) that has been preordered for ages. That will be my EDC until the Busse Folding type thing arrives...or the rat type folding thing....
It's a hell of a folder. Infact I went digging for clams with it. The sand dulled the blade a bit, but I sharpend it back up on my Spyderco sharpmaker. Rust was minimal, and I cleaned it with Flitz and oiled her up. The VG-10 steel is pretty awsome.
Jerry and Busse crew. When your folder comes out, it better be good.
