What's your EDC Folder

At work, I carry a customized Umfaam with handrubbed flats and swedge. Perfect little knife to carry everyday in a sheeple heavy environment. At home, I carry the full size old style AFCK in M2 blade steel.

I was using an old Benchmade 975 Tanto for work and a Emerson Commander outside work. Been carrying a CUDA Maxx outside of work for the last couple months (I do get some horrified looks when I use it). Hopefully going to start carrying a Basic 3 to work when I get my On Scene sheath.

I switch off between a Buck Strider Spearpoint, and an Emerson CQC 7A, depending on where I am going to be. Constant companions are a Victorinox Tinker, and Assault Shaker.

I carry an Emerson Commander, it is a early 99 just like the 98's with the thicker handle and liners, and also a Mission MPF Tanto thats solid Titanium, and last but not least a Kershaw Black Shiny Chive that clips in my pen holder on my coveralls that is great for cutting bundles of expansion joint when doing cement work.:)

Oh man, don't make me go there. OK, I'll go there.

It really depends on what I'm wearing, what I am doing and what ancticipated activities are possible.

The basic "always there" knives usually include a SAK Spartan and a Busse Assault Shaker (I know, not a folder) as well as a CRK&T KISS money clip.

The folder(s) will then be a Sebenza (large or small), a Pinnacle 750 (plain or comvo) or Mission MPF along with second piece which usually will be either an AFCK II, BM 710 M2 or some similar folder rigged for front left pocket carry.

Thn there is the RF Waved piece that I sometimes carry which will either be a 2002 Commander plain edge Satin or a CQC7B combo edge.

Then there are also the Buck-Striders, large and small, both spearpoint. These are the work knives, I also have a combo edge Endura that's a good snorkeling and swimming folder.

Then there's the "don't really count" pieces like multi-tools, min-Dyad,Buck slip joint and the like.

I really need to thin out my folders and concentrate some carry tile and use on the few I really like. I just can't figure out which few that would be.

How about the Busse Tank Buster:cool:

(ok, ok:rolleyes::o:rolleyes:, I KNOW it's now here yet but I had to start the naming contest somehow:p:p:p)

Most of the time it's a Benchmade 710. For a smaller EDC i go with my Sm Classic Sebenza.
I sure hope Busse comes out with that folder soon......:)

In my front left pocket rides a Umfaam, and a small "Line Drive" Sebenza rides in a G2 sheath on my right side.

Spyderco Endura plain edge - when traveling

Small Plain Sebenza - when at home

A large Line Drive Sebenza in a sheath, with a small classic Sebenza in a mission wallet. Occassionally, I'll throw in my small graphic Sebbie.

Large plain Sebenza
Victorinox Soldier
Also carry from time to time:
Chinook
or
BM800

Others rotate in as well.

Looking at armsraised's knife reminded me to add the Microtech LCC. How could I forget that one.

Sometimes a Strider flat ground AR.
Other times a small plain Sebenza.
Just depends on my mood that day.
Way back around February I spoke to Jerry and asked him if the folder would be out this year. He was noncommittal about it. It's beginning to look like it won't happen this year. Amazing, considering how long it's been in the works.

Small plain Sebenza.

On rare occaisions, I'll also carry an ivory micarta Puma stockman for sheeple service.
