What's your EDC light?

Wow you guys are fancy. Just a little preon 0 for me.

I WILL be EDCing a Fenix LD01 once it gets to me...

The one downside to ordering online... I've got the light, eneloop rechargeables for it, a BM Griptilian, and contacts all on the way to me right now. It's so annoying!!

I carried a Zebralight SC30 for two years, but recently switched over to a JETBeam RRT-01. 500 lumens on an RCR123 is fun. :)

Keep a Fenix LD01 on key chain with my truck ignition key and a Fenix E11 in my watch pocket.

4sevens preon 2. light, bright, multiple output modes that are easily accessible, and affordable. only thing i don't like is that sometimes the clicker gets hit when sitting, etc (carry it clipped in right front pocket)...what i do though is unscrew the head 1/4 or less (doesn't take much when light turned on to turn it off by loosening the bezel) turn to prevent accidentally turning it on. one quick extra step to get light but worth the conserved batteries...not sure if i were to drop it in water like that if it would effect waterproofing though. if they made the clicky recessed i think it'd be just about perfect for me but more than serviceable and quite happy with it as is.

**addendum: answered my own question...the preon1 is turned off by loosening the head, and is rated the same for waterproof as the preon2. my assumption is that by using my battery conserving technique i should still be good as far as waterproofing based on that. the quark tacticals also allow for the alternate mode to be entered initially when the head is loosened a quarter turn...for anyone else using the preon2 figured this may be helpful or you may have other input.**

^^yup. Still rocking mine. Dropped it down a concrete staircase the other day and its still working dandy. Added a fancy random scratch pattern to it.

Anyone handle a Raptor? That may be my next light if I do ever manage to break the pd32. Though I like that one so much I may just replace it. ;)

Main: Zebralight H51Fw - Bright neutral floody with awesome interface. Very low low, and high high. Waiting for the MBI Torpedo as a replacement.
Backup: DQG II AAA with magnet - pre-preon 0 flashlight, low-high light. Waiting for the Ti DQG to be released.

I carry a Surefire LX2 as well, and love it, but my 'low' is a lot more than the advertised 15 lumens. I'd say more like 50. Anyone know if that's unusual?

Energizer solar crank. Good reliable light, never have to switch out batteries for charging. No need to use the crank with the built in solar charger.

I wield a JetBeam BC10. 240L high, 30L low. Two settings no strobe/SOS/gimmicky stuff. Simple. I upgraded the clip from a JetBeam RTT01 so it will carry a little deeper. If there was one complaint it would be the clip. Otherwise for $35-40 USD it's a great light.

Shown below with the upgraded clip and my "Meathead" skulls.

I just lost my 4Sevens Quark mini AA at the gym yesterday after carrying it for over a year everyday/everywhere. Hope the bastage that has it now is enjoying it..just ordered another one and a Nitecore EZAA R5 to compare. I carried the Quark mini AA in my front suit pants pocket with no problem every day, and it fits in my zippered arm pocket as well; about the size of a tube of chapstick!

I used to have an anemic little no-brand, but am so much happier with the Fenix LD15 now on my keychain.
