Two (2) workhorses of a pen in my opinion; TWSBI Diamond 540 and Lamy Vista Safari. Both of these sport 1.1mm nibs.

Benchmade 1100-3 Black ink...outstanding pen that I received in a trade.

Blue-black Uni-ball. I like these better than all of the expensive models I have tried.

Sharpie. Usually the "twin-tip" flavor that has fine and ultra-fine tips. Its like a flashlight, knife or anything else, in that once you start carrying it, you start using it all of the time.

I usually just carry the traditional Parkers, they are very slim, light weight, write well and stylish.
