I want to know what your favorite Bechmade knife is and why! :)

My current favorite is the 941-01 BC1BL. I have a Prototype (chillin' in my display case) and a limited run model. I also gave one to my father as an early birthday present :)

So far it is my favorite knife.
Why?
For starters, it is beautiful! The blue handles with the plain edge BC1 blade looks amazing!
Plus it meets all of my 'EDC user' wants.
It has a clip, completely ambidextrous, feels great in my hand, great blade style, opens and closes very very smoothly! not too big, not too small. lightweight, but not too light :)

Tell me your favorite. :)

I love my 750 because of the mono-lock and titanium handles and recurve blade.

I love my 940 because its size is perfect for EDC.

Good choice, Shrubba. I have a plain 941 and I really like it. Probably my favorite BM, would still have to be the 710, in M2.

710.

I'm a fan of ATS-34/154CM.
I'm a fan of G-10.
I'm a fan of the Axis Lock.

Great blade shape. Excellent package. I'm going to get the 705 eventually.

First. . .there was the Striker 910 (mine was a Prototype). OAL at 8.25" and blade length of 3.70". Blade was made of ATS-34 ~ modified tanto ~ serrated. Black G-10 scales. Thumb disk. Supposedly, there were only 200 Prototypes made. Wicked sharp too (surprising from Benchmade).

Lastly. . .the BM-690 (again, a Prototype). OAL at 7.5" and blade length of 3.25". This time. . .the blade was fabricated from 154-CM. 1,000 Prototypes made :( . Another wicked sharp knife. Don't care much from the clip though.

Both knives were collaborations with Allen Elishewitz ~ and both are superb knives ! :D

I have a TSEK and a Blue 940, and they are both great, but my fav, from pure store handleing is the AXIS AFCK, they changed the ergo's a bit (made em better) and added the axis lock, now it is one of the most perfect tactical (wtih lots of utility) knives out there. The only improvment i ould siggest is add a hard Chrom option and Green G10 as an option

The Sexiest benchmade is that new 46.

Are any of the clip-point models currently available in blue? Are they going to be at some point in the future? I have one of the blue 940 Knife of the Month models and I would love to get a blue clip-point to match it! Can anyone point me to a dealer or give me other information?

Hmmmm, I can't say anything for the ones I haven't handled, but I really like the red 940s, hard to find, and I wish I had one... Also the limited edition Ares with carbon fiber handles and BT2 coated M2 steel blade is pretty nice. I have the 732 Ares and I like it alot.

I have two favorites at this time;
1 710S My first Axis knife and it is still my favorite.
2 Griptilian I just got this knife about 2 months ago and I have given it some good carry time and I really like everything about it. I think it is a very good knife. Everyone who likes BM's should try it.

I just ordered a 940 last week so when it gets here it could be my new favorite. :D

My favorite to carry at the moment is my Griptillian, but my favorite of all my Benchmades in my collection is a Red 940BT.

750 Pinnacle, it's titanium handled, it's a monolock and it reminds me of the old 600 Brend which I never got and wished I had.
Paul.

benchmades are my fav production brand, and the axis AFCK is my fav of the line - the axis AFCK is the best imho, and just the std old 800's are good esp for the $$

also like the 710, my fav other than the axis AFCK

why?? excellent ergos, good workmanship, good steel, good QC, axis lock is excellent, ya can open it really fast once ya get used to it, i like large blades and these have them, just a great knife (knives)...

For a long time this was a ripping question to me...

I like all my Benchmades (690, 730, 814, Nimravus Cub), but my favourite is 814 (plain edge).

Reasons:
- feels good in my hand (well, so does the others)
- came scary sharp and holds edge well (well, so does the others)
- is small and light enough to keep in pocket (can't say this about Nimravus Cub ;))
- easy to take totally apart for cleaning (I'm afraid I can't say this about 730 :()
- not any sharp corners or rough thumbstuds to snag on clothes

Oh yes, can't forget the tip down carry. I prefer it...

Allmost sounds like I've done the impossible: found the perfect knife to me ;)
How it can be possible? Can it be?:confused:

Of course, the 800 AFCK. Fills the hand nicely, and it is a classic tactical knife in my opinion. I would rather have it anyday over the axis AFCK. Big D1
