Whats your favorite Buck knife

hmm this is tough. For everyday, I am falling in love with my TNT. It has such a great feel in the pocket, and is a great slicer.

For a folding hunter, I love the Alpha. I have never been on the 110 bandwagon (probably too young), but this updated version is definitely a winner.

For fixed blade, I am trying to decide between an Alpha and a Strider Solution. Both are ATS-34, so it comes down to which blade is better for my skinning/hunting needs.

For this week, I guess my overall favorite is the folding Alpha. At least thats the one I keep flipping awhile Im reading these posts!

Tough call. I could list my top five but my favorite would be a day to day thingy.

My top five favorite Bucks:
My 532 in BG-42
The 313 Muskrat
My Custom Shoppeeee110
The Cami made 322 Congress in black
The Rush

There are a few that I admire greatly but don’t own:
The 535
The Black 560
The 120 General
The TNT

If I could only have just one I’d choose the 532 but I will require diamond hones for the good old Gutco if that is the case. That BG-42 is a bitch to sharpen.

Nickel silver bolstered Buffalo horn scaled riveted nail-nicked drop-point BG-42 110...with a tan holster-flapped sheath... :D

...But I'm really not choosy... ;)

 :D :D ...I guess I'm easy...it's gotta have "wood & metal"...LOL...With that in mind it would have to be the Walnut 532 in BG-42 followed by the 110 in virtually any "wood/metal" combination. I do have to admit though, that the 277 with that ATS-34 is working it's way into that group for me...:D

For me probaly the 110:cool:

For me, my 112 stag and damascus in N/S. My 309 is in my pocket almost everyday...and I rotate through the "other" EDCs that I have. Preston

I Know Tis Is Off Topic But, Any Of You Own A Benchmade Pika 10400?
If You Do, Is It Good Do The Blade Have Any Free Play?

My favorite Buck depends on what I am doing.

For camping, I like the 692 rubber Vanguard.
When wearing grown-up (office) clothes, TNT.
Letter Opener/Staple Remover duty: 112FG (I named him "Stubby")
Line Dancing, .111.. (Urban Cowboy Classic)

Everyday...110

If I had to choose ONE knife, or I was a cast away, I would be hard pressed to choose between my 110 Alaskan, 298GY, or 110FG Walnutto NS BG-42.

The 110's would have to keep their OAB and I would need a diamond stone too. The only reason I would hesitate on the 298 is the possibility of the sping, liner lock, or safety screwing up over the years of use cracking open coconuts, cutting down trees for shelter/fire, prying open shell fish, scratching the days that pass in a cave wall, and cutting open beer cans that drift ashore. Less moving parts the better.

Then why I wouldn't take my 102BR or 692? Guess ya never forget your first Buck.

So, my wiener is: The One and Only...110.

Goose.

gotta go with the 110, big enough to do anything you need to do but easy to carry. however I'm rapidly falling in lust with my 889. so many knives so little time {and money} ahgar

Would be easier to say what is least favorite. Too many of them that are favorites.

Now,,,most carried is a little sleeper that I don't think I have ever seen mentioned here.

A littel red/black marbled 170

Is as smooth opening and closing as an Alpha 277. Goes in the pocket first, anytime except during hunting season. Even if there are others being carried. Can get it out in public without any adverse comments.

I own one Benchmade, Cabelas mini-Grip, D2 it locks up tight and no blade play...except for what I do with it:D. Preston

There's no way to pick one favorite. I started with the 110, so it's always got a special place in my heart, but I really love the 501 and 503.

BuckMaster. I just love that knife more than I should but I think its just the neatest thing.

At this moment and time in space, It would be the Nighthawk. This is subject to change within 60 seconds..... Walt
