This one is the Civivi Perf and is a flat ground Nitro-V blade, ground down quite thin tooOut of interest, does Civvi do any non hollow grind?
My brand new CIVIVI Brad Zinker Bo is a flat grind…and maybe a new favorite CIVIVI!Out of interest, does Civvi do any non hollow grind?
I m carrying my Governor. Very well built knife. Uses washers rather than bearings, which I think is a plus. The D2 in this blade seems to hold an edge better than the D2 blade of my Rat1.I don't have any WE product as yet , but the Governor and Incite interest me for the longer blades .
Decent Damascus at such a price is also attractive (pun intended) .
You’d be surprised how well their 9cr18mov performs. I remember seeing edge retention matching some manufacturers s30v via cardboard cutting tests.Gotta admit only D2 or 9cr is a bit of a let down, they would do heaps better with more options!
The Brazen is great. Ground thin, good ergos, and pretty exceptional action. And you get 14C28N which I like a lot more than D2. You wont be disappointed.I m carrying my Governor. I m looking at the Brazen now.
Gary, your photography composition skills are next-level. I’m a big fan of your shots sir! This one is the Civivi Perf and is a flat ground Nitro-V blade, ground down quite thin too

I'd like to get another Civivi that is as big or bigger than the Praxis. The Asticus looks like the only option. Am I missing one or two?
The Naja is bigger than the Praxis. It was one of their initial offerings alongside the Praxis and Baklash. It has a lovely blade and is very comfortable in hand. I have two of them. I sent one in for testing. That may be the testing thatZookie mentioned previously. Between that and my own anecdotal use, I can confirm that WE has perfected the heat treatment for 9Cr18Mov. The Naja is sadly discontinued but it can still be found if you look around or keep an eye out on the secondary market.
The Incite is similar in size to the Praxis. I don't love D2 but the different handle materials look nice. If they ever do a stainless version of the Incite (besides Damascus) then I'll be very interested.
Another option is the shredder. It is more slender than the praxis but has a long 3.75 inch blade.I'd like to get another Civivi that is as big or bigger than the Praxis. The Asticus looks like the only option. Am I missing one or two?
