What's your favorite folding knife--right now, as of today, and why??

Spyderco military all the way. Although that 110 looks damn sexy.
If you think that's sexy....

Right now it's my XM-18. I had heard a lot of stories, and it does NOT disappoint. It's big, it's solid, it locks up like a bank vault, feels good in the hand.

Spyderco Gayle Bradley outperforms all of my other folders.
The Benchmade 710 is probably my favorite folder. I'd love to have one with CPM M4 and the Spyderco GB heat treat and grind.

XM-24 - big and bad to the bone. Fast deployment and razor sharp. Hinderer's pretty much do the talking for you. ;)

It changes, but I'd have to say my current favorite is my lg. reg. Seb. This one has a fluted CF scale on it for looks, lightness, grip, & a little extra class.

Next to the Seb would be a slip-joint & at the moment, that's probably my Joe Allen Eureka Jack with stag handles & S30V Wharncliffe blade & ATS-34 Pen blade (2.5" & 1.75", respectively).

They make a nice combo...:D

It's a toss up tween this Tenacious and the Blur....why??
Because our own Knifenut1013 stopped by last night and made them really really sharp!!;)

Benchmade 710D2...without the BK coating...my favorite. Replaced the plastic spacer with devo hats and it's a great knife:

Elaborate on the "devo hats spacer" please..... I'm currently EDC'n the same knife:thumbup:

Hi all, I'm new around here, and I like to carry my Benchmade 710. It's light and fast, and currently my only folder.

Hi all, I'm new around here, and I like to carry my Benchmade 710. It's light and fast, and currently my only folder.

That's a great folder if you could only choose one, it would be in my top 5.

My daily "beater-knife" is my old Cold Steel Prolite w/PE. This thing's been used & abused and still locks up solid and works great. My newest is the Cold Steel Mini-Lawman that was a gift. I always tuck that away on me someplace and man it's nice!.

Mine is probably the cheapest knife in the thread but for me, right now, its my Opinel #8 with an olive wood handle. Its simple, functional, sharp as all get out, has a nice wood handle and just plain works.

Right now,it's the XM18,because it's the newest.I love the sound it makes when it opens & closes(THWAAAAAACK!).It's definitely the strongest, most overbuilt folder I've ever owned.I like the way it fills my hand.I like flipping it too.I need to thin down the edge some, otherwise it's perfect.

It's usually, but not limited to one of these three.

My all time favorite would have to be my red Victorinox Spartan. It probably has more pocket time than all my other knives combined.

I have several knives that I am quite fond of but my favorite right now is my first custom knife. It is a Keith Coleman custom that I ordered from Keith several years ago. I'm fond of it because I enjoyed going over to his shop and discussing all aspects of the knife. He is a true gentlemen and was a pleasure to meet.

He is now retired from knife making which is a shame for me because I would like to own more of his work.

Of my own I'd have to say my Benchmade Emerson CQC-7. It has been with me everywhere and has seen a lot of work. Even lost it a few times and had it turn back up. Probably one or two knives in my collection that I would not let go for any amount of money.
