My favorite folding knife right now is a BM 558 M4 (Ritter RSK M4 Mini-Grip). The knife is just amazing for what I need in an everyday tool. The size is perfect at just a shy under 3" (blade length), the M4 is a simply amazing steel - it gets wicked sharp, but it's super easy to sharpen and holds that edge for an incredible amount of time - and the form it comes in works for me. While I think the Zytel (Norlyx, whatever you want to call it) isn't the best for handle materials, until I get enough extra money to make it okay to purchase some Wilkins grips it works just fine for me. Mine didn't have any issues with blade play, centering, or with finish (sort of), but the tip isn't that great. I love the DLC coating, it's incredibly resilient - mine has yet to show any wear - and the M4 is probably the easiest carbon steel to take care of that I have. It's just a great all around knife.

I'd have to say the Spyderco Military. Packs a big blade in an easy to carry package, and the handle shape is top notch!

Still patiently awaiting my KW exclusive with cpm m4 blade!!!

My Chinook 3...because it is the most beautiful knife I have and It can do most things I need to do with a knife...save my fixed blades.

For the last year, this has been my favorite. Sharp, shiny, and built like a Mercedes....

Built like a Mercedes? Isn't Mercedes owned by Daimler AG, which before selling Chrysler (after they pillaged Dodge/Jeep/Chrysler of any useful technology) produced the Most Terrible Car Ever - Chrysler Sebring? Well, that and the massive amounts of corruption and bribery the company conducts, I don't know if I would use that as a benchmark. :thumbdn:

Nice knife, though!

Ever driven a Mercedes?

Like this Mercedes?

This is neither here nor there, they're not the end all be all luxury car. Mercedes has excellent advertising, but they're the Rolex of the car world.

Back on topic.

I think he meant this hotness. Looks as sweet as a larg pimped Sebenza:

Right now it is this Jeff Mutz single blade canoe:

It rides well in the pocket, doesn't attract the wrong kind of reactions when it is used in everyday cutting tasks and does everything I need it to do. For heavier stuff, I've got heavier gear, but I need them only 5% of the time. And it is legal to carry in my pocket where I live.

I like a lot of knives and they are all my favorite, but this one has a special place.
