What's your favorite handle material

stag bone, giraffe bone, variety of woods, including but not limited to ironwood, cocobolo.
Also micarta and smooth G10.

Do I have to pick just one? :(

You really can't beat G10 for durability, variety of colors and finishes, ease of working with it, and cost. But of course micarta, natural and stabilzed woods and CF have their place, too.

To add on to my opinion I must say, I really like the looks of a more "rough" micarta, but I have never handled a knife with it yet.

I´m usually just on natural materials.

bone/stag

Wood (I prefer ebony the most - an outstanding material)

When synthetic - micarta or G10

Kingwood, striped ebony, curly birch. For folders: the usual stuff like carbon fibre. :)

I'm a huge fan of Redwood Burl

Definitely prefer natural materials and at the top of that list is ivory without a doubt. For synthesized materials I like polished micarta.

Canvas micarta for the synthetic.

Lignum vitae for the natural wood (followed by Cocobolo and Rosewood).

Linen or canvas micarta. G-10 second, but it needs to have a good checkering job done on it.

I do like micarta a little bit more than G10.
But, I use both. It really just depends what kind of look and/or grip I'm going for.
