What's your favorite khukuri?

My MS. My first HI Khuk, and still the one that seems to stir up the most emotion when I handle it.

Yvsa, the handle is either reddish Nepali Oak or Rosewood. I also like the color my handle takes after a fresh coat of oil (I use Boiled Linseed Oil, which has mineral spirits). I especially like how it brings out the reddish hue of the more brown colored side of my handle.

The Milk Snake: Beautiful, harmless, good-natured, eats venomous snakes for lunch.

Hard to say...

Of the villagers I have, it would have to be the Bhudhuni. To me, it is the perfect user's khukuri. Used and abused, it is still in great shape.

Of the regular HI line, it would be a tie between my plain YCS and baby GRS.

Of the kothimodas, it would have to be my second as it has that extra spirit in it.

Naw Harry!!! Keep your motor racing and let nature guide your course.
Idle will come soon enough and then you can use Tsimi as an excellent example of an idle while you do the research.
