Whats your favorite knife?

Funny thing...the one that finds the way to my pocket (most often) is an Opinel #7. It is a very light knife, crazy sharp and cuts like mad. I don't notice the knife when I carry it. The high carbon blade gets sharp quickly and seems to cut better than many of my other expensive folders. I'd say my Opinel slices better than any of my Miltary folders. This is a truly an astounding compliment.
 
I don't know, Toad, sounds to me like they fit in this thread pretty nicely. You should have posted a photo, though. Some of us like slippies.

Right now, I think I have to go with my Cold Steel Hold Out III. I'm liking how the AUS 8 blade and the handle is very comfortable now that I've taken down the G10. Rides close in my jeans, and is out quick when I need it. It's sort of funny. I haven't been a CS fan for some years, even though they're the company that got me interested in knives. Now, I'm slowly going back to them again.

I have a soft spot for my Spyderco Dragonfly. It's a great little knife for an office environment.

Ahhh. Cattaraugus reverse Congress whittler. It's A.G. Russell's 35th KCC knife.
 
Right now it's my Large Voyager also - Vaquero flavor. Usually it's whatever is the most recently purchased or gifted, only time that wasn't the case is when I bought a titanium custom necker and a CRKT B.U.L.L. - both real crap

ive got the clip point whats the difference between that and the Vaquero they both look the same
 
Wow, This Thread Is A Hard One.
I Have One I Carry And Use Most Which Would Be My Kershaw Black Gulch, I'll Have To Post Some Pics Of The Little Guy Soon Lol.
And I Have A Favorite That I Fondle The Most Which Would Be My Spyderco UKPK Maroon FRN Handles Drop Point Blade In CTS-BD1 Steel.
And I Have A Favorite Of The Collection That The Others Bow To And That Would Be My Spyderco Manix 2 Sprint In CTS-BD30P.
 
You know, I realize I'm only about the 300th person to say this, but until you start capitalizing what you say the way normal people do, I'm not even going to bother reading what you type. It's a shame, really, because I have the feeling you might have something worthwhile to say.

Hmm, Brend. Not a lot of people here are that familiar with him. I am, and I love his knives, but I think I'd have to classify them as "art knives." I don't think I know anyone who actually uses one.

I thought it looked Congress-like, just bent a different way. I really like the sheepsfoot blade. I use the one on my Stockman all of the time.
