I just rattled one more out of my memory: in Let the Right One In (2008), the protaganist has a Mora Scout Knife with a natural wooden handle which he fiddles around with in his home and on a nearby playground.
If you've not seen it, it is an intriguing addition to the vampire genre. I liked it, but it is very dark and does not follow the usual Hollywood format (which makes sense as it is a Swedish film).
