What's your favorite NON FOLDING smaller blade knife

Esee izula through the Esee 4, my favorite being the Izula 2. It seems to get the most use out of any knife i own but all of those Esees fit your specs and are great. Take a look at the Becker tweeners and their neck knives as well. The BK11 was the most used knife in my collection until I got the Izula 2.

members here recommended the bk-16 when i asked for advice. i have my eye on it right now but holding off until i'm 100% sure. nice knife though.

I have an Ontario TAK 1 and I think it is a very good knife. I prefer it's handle to the Esee 4, although it is less concealable.

totally agree - which is why I sold my ESEE4 w/TKC scales and bought a D2 TAK1.

for smaller fixed blades:
2.5" blade Izula 2, Bryan Breeden custom necker
3" blade BK14 (1095)/BK24 (D2)
4" blade BK16 (or ESEE 4 if you want a shorter handle and a huge choil)

My favorite production is the Spyderco Street Beat. Great knife. But my favorite is a custom made a maker on the forums, James Terrio. And it was less expensive than the Spyderco to boot!

My fav fixed blade to date is easily my Boye Basic 3. I strongly recommend upgrading to the leather sheath over the nylon/brass one though. Runner up is a Strider SA-GG.

CRKT minimalist, super convenient and easy to sharpen i stonewashed mine to make it more me, for 19 bucks its worth eery penny.

Esee Izula with the paracord wrap. This knife is a workhorse, great slicer and extremely light. I cut the extra plastic off the bottom of the sheath, but kept left the sides alone so the knife will not shift around in my pocket, but carries deeper (even with a swim suit I forget this knife is in my pocket). It's also great to have the 4 feet of paracord on you whenever you carry this knife (especially when you need an emergency belt).

Thank you everyone! I really appreciate these replies. I realized that i didn't ask the question I meant to ask, which is--when choosing a LARGER fixed blade (larger than 3-4 inches) which would you choose?) But I got some interesting replies anyway, and I will definitely look into the brands and models mentioned. Thanks again.

and of course, Enzo Trapper and Izula.

My Izula, Izula II, BK11 and BK14 and my Svord EDC are all great smaller fixed blades. I'm sure any of them can keep you happy and provide you plenty of knife for daily tasks and such.

Hello!

I often EDC either a Fällkniven F1 or PRK in the Zytel sheath, which makes up for a really slim, yet powerful package:

Another one I like is the Kellam Wolverine:
