I've had a bunch of knives over the years. I've had to sell most of my knives again due to illness. But I've always had a love of a stockman knife. Due to issues with my hands shaking I now have to have a locking blade. I have a spyderco Chapparel that I carry quite a bit when I'm not working. And am waiting to be able to get another native 5 or manix 2 for work and around the house chores. 3 of the very best knives I've ever owned

Right now it is these two.

I love both because of design, color & bladesteel. The Delica, both slim and ergonomic, is my EDC if I'm at the cabin and the LTC is my office/city EDC.

I like this one. Here's why: It was a gift from my wife; it slices very well; it has a blade big enough to be extremely useful, from carving turkeys to prying gunk out from under my fingernails; it has an almost needle-like point for poking into things, and it is very light for its size. Oh, and it's just fun to use in a Crocodile Dundee-like way.

I would have to say the Case pattern 47. Not too big, not too small with three useful blades. When I’m running out the door it’s the one I reach for more often than not.

Emerson’s are nostalgic for me, have had one around since the 90’s. They do what you want them to do , get them dirty, cut stuff, drop them, beat on them, sharpen them .. excellent work knives. I think by todays standards Emerson knives might seem to cost more than they are worth. I personally like Emerson’s, a lot.

Simply put, it's typically my most recent acquisition, and because it's new of course.

But honestly they're all my favorites. Maybe some are a little more special than others, but I couldn't let any of them go. Exceptions occur of course, such as catch and releases or dumb drunk purchases. Definitely had my fair share of those.

As of right now, even though I never carry them, these are my current "faves"

For actually using/carrying, my Eklipse has been getting a ton of pocket time lately. Similar to the 24, but a little thinner and lighter. Perfect all purpose edc knife for me.. the action of these things on skiffs… so good. The size, weight, feel of this knife is about as perfect as it gets as far as what I like to carry & use.
