What's your favorite POCKET knife?

I have a SAK Spartan and an Old Timer Middleman Jack that I carry from time to time. But my No. 1 daily carry right now is a two-blade Buck 709. Easy on the pockets and one damn tough little pocketknife.
The "highest tech" knives I own are a Spydie Endura and a Leatherman Wave. Other than those two, it's all trad pocketknives for me. As you might imagine, while I'm putting my wife through nursing school and paying down debt, it's a bit tough for me to relate to a lot of the "I carry four Emersons, a Microtech and a Sebenza" chat here. But I do love knives and enjoying hanging around the forum. :)

It is either a Buck 303, Buck 501 or my new toy, a Leatherman Juice S2 (which has replaced my SAK tinker).

With all the clips, hooks, pocket sheaths (ie: William Henry style), etc., I almost forgot about all my "pocket"knives! But the truth is I generally fall back on an old Queen barlow w/ the razor main blade. It's just a darn good knife that will take about any kind of everyday abuse one would traditionally put a pocketknife through.

Of course, today I have a Gerber Paul 2PM. Go figure.

I always have a SAK Executive in the change pocket of my jeans or my right pocket with my keys, and a CRKT Peck as a money clip in my left pocket.

It's pretty funny actually, the SAK gets used ten times as much as my small Sebbie or mini-SOCOM or whatever else is my 'daily carry':p

That would be a Case Trapper that my brother gave me back in the early eighties. Most of the time, I am carrying a Spyderco, but out of all of the Case pocketknives I own, it is my favorite traditional.

Like most of the folk's that post here I own a "lot" of knives. More than I could ever use.
The one that always winds up in my pocket is a Buck 4 /14" 307 Wrangler yellow handled
stockman. It has never drawn a stare a or second glance when I use it. Can't say that about
a good many of the other knives I own.

As far as knives I carry down in my pockets, that would have to be, first of all, a black Victorinox Classic that gets used a lot every day. Another one would be the red Ladybug on my keyring. I occasionally carry other SAKs, such as my Tinker, Soldier, Executive, etc., but at present the Classic is always on me.

I like the Case muskrat in carbon steel, easy to sharpen and holds a good edge.I also like the looks of the chestnut brown handles.

Colt Police Positive Special by United Cutlery
SAK Vic' Champ

NEVER EVER LEAVE HOME WITHOUT 'EM!!!

Case mini-Copperlock has several advantages-
It's thin and small enough to be easier to carry than a stockman or other multiblade pattern. It's a lockback-that's essential IMO. Comes with stainless or carbon blade. Has that tradional look which is sheeple friendly. Fancy bone handles on the stainless knives can even draw favorable comments from sheeple if that matters at all.

Now you're talking my language!!! I love slipjoints!!!!

My big favorites are the Buck 303 and the '98 Bulldog canoe. But the Victorinox Cybertool 34 has been getting some major use at work.

I just happen to have a Camillus Classic Cartridge Series2 trapper on the way, which could unseat all the others. You've gotta' love those bone handles. :)

My favorite is my Schatt & Morgan Doctor's pattern, 3 1/4", tan jigged bone, nickel silver bolsters and liners, and ATS34 clip and pen blades. But recently I got an Al Mar Falcon on a trade. I wasn't very impressed at first; but what a neat little slicer! No pocket clip, extremely thin micarta handle, dual thumbstuds, front-positioned lockback (very solid), and can't hardly weigh an ounce. Fits perfectly in my jean's watchpocket. I can't remember what steel's in the spear blade - maybe AUS8. This knife should get some fanfare here on the forums, it just begs to be used.

It has changed many times over the years but right now my favorite is the Victorinox Cadet.
Not only does it cut things, but it can tighten a screw and open a brew!
What more can you ask for?

.
:D I removed the thumb stud

The steel is BG42, the model is the SOG 84. Less than $ 50 (!) at BK
.

And of course my ARC LED flashlight : 5 hours of green light on one AAA.

My large sebenza. Yeah, I actually toss it down there with the keys and other junk. I'm a big guy, so it doesn't get in the way too badly. My poor SAK hasn't seen the light of day since CRK got their hooks into me.

I just clean the lint out every week or two and it's perfectly happy.

1- Swisstool Utilkey on keychain (I filed the small flathead screwdriver down so that it works on eyeglass pivot screws - and thats almost all I use it for - but I love gadgets and had to have it)

2- Leatherman Juice S2 (which replaced a SAK Soldier, which replaced a SAK Tinker) I still carry the SAKs on occasion, but the Leatherman is now my deep-in-the-pocket, lost-among-the-keys-and-other-crud, filled-with-lint, not-clipped-to-my-pocket, non-tactical EDC.

Spyderco Mini Dyad Micarta (clip removed)... sharp, classic pocket knife style, plain blade and serrated one, tank-solid lockback... perfect.
