What's your favorite RAT knife?

Izula (one of three!) used the most; RC5 'cos it is a fantastic heavy duty/all bases blade; and RC3 is the most, all round useful if I had to grab one knife.

The Rc-5 is on the top of my list mainly because it is made to be a survival knife. It sets itself apart from the other models IMO

My Dear Friends,

For me, the RC-4 is the single most perfect knife in the current RAT lineup. This is not intended to take anything away from the other models, as each model has its individual strengths. It is just that IMO the RC-4 does pretty much every possible thing I could ask for at least passably well. If I could only keep and/or carry one, it would have to be the RC-4. :D

Favorite can be different from most useful, right?

Fav = RC6. It's just plain freaking awesome

Useful = RC4. Versatile, tough, unobtrusive, what's missing?

My Fav is the RC6 .... coupled with an RC3 with an Izula around the neck and the RC5 in the Truck... RC4 is on the hip so it sits quietly waiting it's turn...

RC-4 is my fave then my RC-6 and finally my Izula. I EDC a few folders during the day; working in a big city and corporate environment it's easier to carry a folder than a fixed blade.
I finally got around to snapping some pics of my RATs this past weekend.

Sweet! Thanks natural for showing me what my next addition to my RAT Family will look like when I get it! (RC6)

No prob son of Jack! Yeah they're all such awesome knives. I'm glad I held out this long before buying more fixed blades. I'm still hoping to hear some news updates on the Izula scales though. I'd really like to order some.

For me it is the RC-3, then the Izula, The RAT-3. As much as I use them, my primary bush knife is still my TAK-1 or one of my Gossman knives.

Izula

probably my fav knive I own period

about the only others I use are my ALOX SAK and my mini ritter

hi dirk, my favorite RAT knife is the rc-4, and the rat one folder does not belong to the RAT company, thats ontario rat, a whole seperate company.

I just got my RAT-1. There are a few things I am going to review about it.

Weight: 144g Weight is a little awkward but the knife is rather large (about 8 1/2 in)

Lock: Very solid lock. It took me about 5 minutes to figure out how to close it.

Handle: Comfortable fit in hand. It is just the right size and feels very good in the hand.

Edge: Comes extremely sharp. It gracefully cuts through even thin paper. I think it will hold an edge well because the steel is quite good.

Overall-Folders: 5 out of 5
All Knives: 4.5 out of 5
It is a great knife just I prefer fixed blades.

Just went out and used it to cut some wood. It holds an edge great. If it did dull you can't tell.
