whats your favorite SAK???

It would've been the woodsman, but that is discontinued.

I'll have to go with the fieldmaster.

I really like most of the 3 and 4 layer models,I guess my favorite ( at the moment) would be the hiker or fieldmaster,I like the usefullness of the scissors on the fieldmaster but at the same time the hiker seems to carry just right.

I may have answered differently if I responed to this topic before, but I just realized that my favorite SAK is the long-discontinued Victorinox "Mauser" model.

Farmer all the way. My first SAK was a huntsman, I love that saw. Gave it to my Dad when I got an Adventurer with locking blade , I think I will go dig it out. Now I am really liking my farmer the alox scales hold up great.

I've had many SAKs, but always seem to come back to my Camo Tinker as the favorite.

Victorinox Huntsman - because it has everything that i really need, saw, scissors, large blade( I’ve changed angle to 15 degrees per side), and what is very important knife itself has low fear factor :)

I think i posted to a favsak thread last time I signed on also...
of all the ones i have,
edc is a red alox pioneer harvester
red alox farmer is always on my desk, as is a cybertool. these are always in use constantly, almost daily.
mauser is my favorite collectable, second is the red alox first mate. these two because of their unique configs.
red alox is very nice. especially in the older configs with soldier blades.

The black Recriut: Large blade
Small blade
Can opener
Bottle opener
Tooth pick and tweezers. All in a 3 1/2 " package.

For urban/suburban EDC I like the small Tinker.

For the great outdoors, I've got a Farmer.

I have three favorites.

Super Tinker
Huntsman
Electrician Plus

If I had to pick one only, it would be the Huntsman.

I like my alox Soldier, I even have an older red alox that I EDC'd. I have a couple of the Cybertools, the 41 and 29. I work in IT and the driver comes in pretty handy. The 41 is huge and I don't sheath carry anymore, but I keep it in a drawer at home and use as needed. The 29 is about as wide a SAK that I would carry in my pocket. I could take a laptop apart and reassemble it with the 29.

It has to be my modded OHT (Thanks MC). Not only is she sexy, but that pocket clip adds a ton of utility for me.

Nothing....repeat .... NOTHING can even COMPARE to the Wenger Handyman.

Available elswhere, but the picture says it all. ONLY the Handyman combines a usable size with BOTH the scissors and nailfile.
And the saw is amazing.

Vic Troubleshooter. This one was a Marlboro Miles Promotional knife, long since discontinued. Essentially, it's a Deluxe Tinker with a metal file. For now, anyway, it's the favorite.

I own a model just like that, except without the pliers - mine is called a Mountaineer - I believe it's still in production.

My EDC SAK is a Super Tinker but occasionally I carry around an alox Cadet or a Wenger Standard Issue (I love the bail -- I wonder why bails have gone out of style?).

I love my Spartan for EDC. Feels great in the pocket.

I still have my first SAK, even if it is three decades plus old now - and I've long since forgotten it's model. It's younger brother, my second SAK, is MIA in this house - somewhere. Not knowing what model it was, I took a chance and ordered a Deluxe Tinker and Craftsman from an Evil-Bay source. The MIA is a Deluxe Tinker - and still quite my favorite... behind the slightly larger unknown model first one! How do you tell the model name? I have a few more - and my memory isn't that good...
