Whats your favorite wild game to eat?

Bird ? - The ptarmigan
Animal ? - whitetail deer

Much of the flavor of game depends on what they eat .I've had delicious pronghorn but it was eating wheat not the usual sagebrush !
Hunter preparation is critical - the game must be dressed out immedately to avoid the 'strong gamey' flavor of spoiled meat !!
Cooking properly is also important .
I've eaten weird stuff like seal and beluga but it's hard to comment since I didn't do the cooking .

Hands down Elk is my favorite mammal and its a toss up between trout and Salmon for fish.

Wild pigs, definitely.
They are called 猪 (inoshishi) in Japan.

Oh this one is really close to mine but replace deer with moose. Although I eat moose the most because there is just so much meat!!!
