I agree. I had some once and it was as good as any beef I've tasted. It was a younger bull.

Game fowl are hard to beat, in my experience.

I made a pretty awesome batch of garlic bread with feral hog lard last month. Grill French bread in the fat, with a clove of garlic, like it's a grilled cheese. Add a bit of black truffle oil before you serve it. Kids love it -- provided you don't tell them what's in it.
