What's your grail?

I have yet to acquire my grail. And frankly don't know how to hunt one down. It is a French brass pocket knife made by Couperier Coursolle. What makes it unique is its a homage to Napoleon. I've tried referring to two quite popular sites to no avail. If anyone could give me pointers on a deeper dive, I'd sure appreciate it.
I looked at all of my usual European dealers and it's out of stock on every one of them. It was made by MC Cognet - you might try emailing them. They have been very responsive to my inquiries in the past.

Or pose your question HERE.

My long time grail knife was a Kershaw 1050. It is nothing magical or rare, or even that pricey. I just remember at a young age seeing someone with one, and wanting one badly. I finally got one a little while back, and satisfied that itch (stock photo attached)

Sometimes the want of something and the memory it triggers makes it more of a grail than it really is.

I suppose my next grail was a Randall fixed blade. I got to scratch that itch recently also. This exact model, but not my photo...

My current grail? Who knows, there's so many choices out there. Maybe a TB...

Thank you for your excellent advice, Sir.

I'd have to say my "Grail" would be BF 77 stag jack. It was a few years before I joined BF, and the few times I've seen one pop up, I've been a tad bit too late. Not my pic.

A very close second to the BF 77, would be the single clip 77 in blackwood or smooth autumn bone. Also, not my pics.

excellent choices, i remember back in the day, i missed one by seconds. used to be able to manage it if you kept your eyes peeled. eventually i ended up with three and kept the mintiest to choose from.

My grail was/is a beer and sausage knife from GEC. I recently got a raise at work and decided to treat myself, and lucky enough GEC just made an another round of them and in whiskey barrel oak as well. Thankfully I found a site with a couple still in stock. I may have paid a bit over other sites, but I finally got my grail! The pull on the fork is a literal nail breaker, but other than that it has stood up well as a grail knife. I really enjoy the scales and long pull on it!

well I discovered a new grail knife recently.

After really falling in love with the little Schrade LB1 I received in the mail a week ago I wound up learning about a brass frame variant that they produced for LL BEAN.
they were tang stamped LL BEAN and had a brass frame & bail, that's all I know but I must have one.

I don't know when, how many, or what I can search on Ebay to turn one up.
I don't think finding one will be easy when there doesn't seem to really be anything specific that I can search.

I’ve been lucky enough to acquire quite a few grail GEC’s and Northwoods in this last year but the one grail I’ve been searching for since I joined this community is and always will be the 2019 Bladeforums Knife. It will be a full circle moment when I finally add one to my collection. It will represent everything I’ve enjoyed about this hobby since I entered into it in late 2019

Really wanting a Stainless GEC 681212. One in American Cherry slipped through my fingers last second on eBay and was really bummed, so I'm currently on a diligent hunt for another since I know these are pretty hard to come by. Crossing my fingers

My number one grail would be an Albers clip point with mammoth scales.

After that it would be either Charlie's city stock or ebony Rider.
