Whats your "Keep in the Car Knife"?

Leatherman Wave and CRKT M16-14ZER - glass breaker, belt cutter, partially serrated. Perfect knife for the console of my truck.

Mora Companion in the glove box. Cheap, sharp fixed blade.

CRKT Exitool. Glass breaker, seatbelt cutter and flashlight all in one.

I used to also have an Ontario Rat 1, just in case I forgot to grab a folder for the day. But I just traded it away. Must find a replacement from my knife drawer...

I keep a Mora in the trunk and a Buck Vantage in the glove box.

I had a Kabar Dozier Folding Hunter (pink) in the glove box in my wife's car, and it turned up ... "missing." I suspect the oil change guys got it; she had a windshield breaker (orange) in the car and it also "disappeared."

Next time I take her car in for an oil change (I did the oil changes myself on my car and her car for 40 years, and never once did I steal the knives!) I'll inventory the knives before and after.

Um, knife? Not knives, like the 710 seatbelt cutter in the door box, the SAK in the glove compartment, the Mora in the rear (loaner), the Blackjack Campanion in the emergency kit, and whatever else I have on my person. Not to mention, the Snow & Nealy Hudson's Bay 3/4 bit under the rear car mat. There may be others...

I keep a Byrd Robin in the center console in case I forget my EDC knife (usually a Spyderco Cat on my off days).

I have an orange fixed blade Skyline with my emergency kit. I might replace that with a mora companion though.

Gerber Hinderer Rescue Tool and a Leatherman Wave

I keep a SOCP dagger clipped to my drivers side sun-visor, and a fixed, SAK, and multi-tool in my go-bag in the trunk - along with a bunch more goodies for any situation.

Plus, the two knives I always have on my person ;)

Some junky no name knife. I always have both a folding knife and an SAK on me, so the only time I would need my in the car knife is if I was in an emergency AND couldn't use my regular knives for some reason.

Cheap ozark trail piece of junk that cost a buck and does what little I ask of it. Duller than my teeth and looser than anything should be but it cuts when I need it to...most of the time :D

Haha that's funny. I got the same piece of junk in my car. My girlfriend bought it when we stopped for some food on the way to a backpacking trip a couple years ago. Apparently she overheard me and a friend talking about what knives we brought and thought she needed one. I've found it cleaning out the car numerous times and always throw it in a cupholder figuring it would have no use anywhere else.

Scrapyard 911 in sheath beneath the driver's seat and Victorinox Swisstool Spirit X in the glovebox.

CRKT Ripple (small) and a Leatherman Surge in my emerg. bag (Maxpedition Jumbo EDC) that sits in the trunk next to the first aid kit. Lifehammer in the glove box until I come up with a better system for it.

I keep a blued and customized (added leather belt loop for lefty carry, affixed with a copper rivet) Mora utility knife (the cheap red plastic handle one) in my center console. It has a nice slathering of petroleum jelly on it.

Orange handled Mora
Keyshawn Chive I bought for $5 as the tip is bent
Ontario rat 3 in the backpack
Marbles machete and eastwing axe in tool box
Boker Grasshopper tied to a fero rod that gets thrown in the pocket

I have a few old worn down fixed blades and an old well used pig sticker somewhere behind the seat in the detritus of the pickup.
