What's your last knife purchase of the year (2023) ?

Yep, Vetbond is also available. Not as strong as Dermabond, but not as expensive either. Thought I had some left. Never tried Shoe Goo.

Still good to keep some Dermabond, and skin staplers around, just in case (*** and it's a good idea to know when those are applicable, and when sutures are required).
I keep a stapler in my kit. I sutured my wrist once and tying with one hand is not easy!🤣

Last purchase of 2023 arrived today - Bill Siegle "Jurassic"

5-5/8" blade, 10-11/16" overall. 5160 steel.

Man, you have bad luck with knives getting stolen Brummie Brummie
That time when the T2 went, about a dozen years ago, was the one time a bunch of things were taken. Left the house without realising a back window was open. Other than that, just the occasional errant parcel, including a DEK3 last year.
I just remembered, there was also a time I was eagerly awaiting delivery of a custom knife. Picked up the box and thought “Wow, that feels light!” Opened it, and there was nothing but packing material inside. On closer inspection, there were two layers of tape on the bottom of the box. Looked like someone had cut the tape and then resealed it somewhere in transit.

Plus there’s my 5-year saga with Milan Mozolič, detailed in the Feedback thread, over a phantom knife order he’s apparently finished 5 times but never managed to photograph.

I guess I am just one of life’s victims! I’ll go apply to an American liberal arts school right now!

EDIT & PS: Before I get too many :( reactions, I appreciate the sympathy, but I wasn’t trying to put a downer on anyone’s morning. This was supposed to be light hearted, and the last statement a joke (some British wry humour). In two decades of buying hundreds of knives, I can see the light side of a few kinks in the road.
