What's your latest BUCK?

I have recently picked up a 105, a 118 with D2 and custom sheath, and an Avid boning knife.

Just got a Bucklite Max folder (large) in a trade. Date code says it was made in 2011. It's really sharp, but it's very stiff to open (even after 200 cycles and Tuff Glide). The pocket clip isn't reversible, which I knew... I have mixed feelings about the knife.

I have the 486 too and it's very stiff but I kinda like that.

I took delivery of my 124 Frontiersman yesterday. That is a whole lot of knife. As soon as I get a chance (ie. wife and kids are asleep) I'll sort some photos. :)

Just received a 55. In Australia we do not have access to much of the Buck range in the shops so I bought it via eBay without actually seeing/handling a 55. I have a 110 & really like the heavy weight feel & the brass & wood finish so I thought a 55 would be a good 'next buy'.
I must admit I was a bit dissapointed when I first opened the package. I was expecting a solid chunky knife simialar to the 110. The 55 is a very elegant, neat looking knife that has grown on me. After a few days of use I am very happy with it. The edges of the wood were a bit too sharp & need a bit of work with grit paper to round them off. Maybe a 112 will be next.

As cm64 says, our options are fairly limited in Australia, so eBay becomes our major source for new toys. This 124 popped up a couple of weeks ago and what with the Christmas holidays and extra parcels flying round the country I only took delivery yesterday. What an insane amount of knife the Frontiersman is. Makes you want to go blaze a trail somewhere. :)

Folding Omni Hunter (397) from 2007. I had to sand off the corner where the thumb stud rubs when opening; now it's great. I thought it would snag a lot during pocket carry, but it doesn't.

In the month of December, I got a Boone and Crocket Tin set from Walmart, and for Christmas I got a 112. I liked the 112 so much I have another coming in the mail as a backup, and I also ordered a 55 which is on the way.

I just picked up a Paklite Skinner (141SSS) and a Bucklite Max large fixed blade (679BKS). Both 2011 production.
I wrapped the Paklite in black and neon green, but had to trim the plastic liner in the sheath to fit it in. I'd love a Kydex sheath for it.

this is my only buck.my son wanted to get me a knife for christmas .i made the custom g10 .my first folder rehandle,i was pretty happy with it.and i like the knife even more.

I just ordered a Web Special Bucklite 422 as a gift to myself for graduating college, can't wait til it gets here so I can check it out. It will be my first Bucklite. It will also be the first knife I have bought in over a year, and probably the last one for a little while. I already have a 112 but wanted something lighter, although I wasnt sure whether to pick the bucklite or the black paperstone ranger on the web specials page.

I got an urban camo (aka tiger stripe) mini Bones (0869CMS-B) to go with my 870
I put a dogtag type, ball chain necklace on it and wear it as a sorta of "pendant"/neck knife...

Paklite Caper is my newest one. I wrapped the handle in 550 cord for grip. I'm not worried about blood, tallow, etc. getting in there. I just run it under very hot water from the sink (let the handle soak in hot water with dishwashing liquid if it's really bad) and then dry it in the oven at 150 degrees for 10 minutes. As long as the temperature stays under 400 degrees there will be no change in steel properties. This method makes it necessary to change the cord wrapping every 10-12 washes, but that's fine with me.
