Got this in the mail today.

Just got these two in from the Bay. The top is a 167UH Steelhead with custom Zebrawood handles, the bottom a 518SC with custom Ebony wood handles. Both were customized by Dale Vincent, aka Orvet, and quite fine examples of quality craftsmanship.

Hey Dave,
Glad you like them.
My monitor color must be off because that ebony looks green.
I hope it didn't change color in shipping.
It was dark black when it left here. :):)

I am glad someone from the forum who appreciates Schrades got them.
They were a very good deal for the buyer.

BTW, I will be mailing your COAs tomorrow.

Thanks again,
Dale

Dale,
The ebony is still black, no issue with it changing color. I feel guilty about what I paid for them, almost feel like I stole them. Definitely nowhere near the value of the craftsmanship you put into them. Like I said before, Dale, BEAUTIFUL work!

Thanks,

Dave

Got these two in the mail today. The SC503 is like new, but no packaging. If it weren't for the fact someone once taped the box shut then torn the cover removing the tape, the honing kit would be almost like new. The oil has never been opened, and the stone looks like it MAY have had a stroke or two on the bottom side at the most, but not even sure about that.

Sweet find, Roland! I haven't seen anything lower than that.

Here are two "new" ones, Kingstons. The top is a minty black cell handled K-29, the bottom a used Stag head stockman.

I do have an early LB-7, serial #0326, but no picture handy at the moment.

I got these in over the past week or so. Left to right in the first picture are an Ulster 2-blade congress style. Tang stamp reads only "MADE IN USA", but blade etch is shown in another picture. Then a Stag Brand Geo Schrade Knife Co fixed blade. Had "Tree Brand" blade etch, with "153" on back side of tang. Next is an LB7 LTD with NS bolsters and black micarta handles. Then an SC507 with racoons. Last in this pic is a 4-pin LB7, S/N L17019, with no tang stamp on the front, tang stamp of "SCHRADE+/USA" only on the back side of the blade. Odd, that one.

Second pic is something I probably wouldn't have noticed if not for Codger's recent post on it. Not in pristine condition, but for the money I spent, it's a pretty good example of the pattern.

I don't post here, because I don't have many Schrades. I usually hang out in Traditional, but wanted to annoy Eric because he missed the show again !

I left behind a minty advertizing pull-ball, and a Cut. Co. 4 blade equal end pen, with french cell and salesman's numbers on the master, off the Schrade boards.
