Nice set there Fran, My mail lady only seems to throw me new models, maybe I'll have to have a word with her/myself!

Russell

Already forgot that ' old thing ' you picked up for $20 in NYS recently ? :D

Fran

Great finds Fran, darned fine handles on the Waldens!:thumbup:

Eric

Here's my latest.

Received this on as a gift from Dennis Fultz via our good friend Larry. Again, many thanks for giving this undeserving soul this dandy piece of history. Thank you.

I received this one a little while back, so it's not my "latest" but I hadn't posted pics of it yet.

Dave, great finds! I like the 4th of July and Schrade plant knives especially, very uncommon examples!

Navihawk, looks to be pretty much unused :thumbup:

Eric

It is Eric, the strange thing is the master blades tang is weak in the middle position. It snaps open and closed pretty good but halfway open the spring is hardly engaged. I wonder if it is the same with other Schrades of this pattern.Other than that, it is tight.

Dave, I do like the Liberty Bell Barlow and the Schrade Factory Scrim 507, I passed the factory a while back and it's been left untouched since the closing, Still has the Imperial Schrade sign on the building.

Nice example of the small Whittler navihawk.

Russell

Got several knives today, only this one is a Schrade. My set is finally complete, with the exception of the case.

This isn't a Schrade, but I read somewhere these guys have ties to the USA Schrades. Besides, its just plain and simple a pretty knife!

Dave, how long is that Canal Street? Are the handles Ebony?
Made by ex-Schrade employees, if I am not mistaken!!

Charlie,
That's the connection to Schrade I had heard. It's 3 3/4" closed, 7" open. And yeah, the handles are Ebony. Very nice ebony, although you can't tell by my poor pics (I went out today and bought most of what I need to build a light box to help me get better pics). It feels really nice in the hand. I also got the same knife with "Caramel Aberdeen Jigged Bone" handles that will probably become one of my numerous EDCs.

Dave-
I REALLY like your Canal Street.:thumbup::thumbup:
Single blade trappers are a favorite of mine!
Nice knife!!!! :D

I got another TN River Trapper last week.
That is about my most recent Schrade.

Dave, me too, i really, really, like your CS knife. i think of Canal Street Cutlery as current USA Schrades, because this company was founded by ex Schrade employees after the 2004 closure. i believe many of the employees working there now, were previously Schrade employees.
i have their Ring Opener in A2 and have been trying to "win" another CSC knife but no luck yet.
i like yours the best of any i have seen.

Roland,
I like that ring opener myself. The same place I got that trapper from also has it and the swell center whittler in ebony as well. I'm sorely tempted to grab both, but holding off, with Christmas coming up. Still got a lot of shopping to do that will severely cut down my knife spending!:(

That's a tough one Dave, he has others being made in Ebony also, I thought about trying for the set although I've not made a move yet.
