What's your LoadOut?

Okay, rather than post man-panties pictures (which I've already done), here's an exploded-bag view of my kit.
This gear rides in my truck pretty much all the time. It's not so much a BOB as it is a "get my ass through a tough spot" bag.
A night outside the truck with this kit could be fairly comfortable, even with rain.

And here's the loaded pack with the BK-2 rig, which has its own integral survival kit.
Into the woods... pack goes on the back, rig goes on the hip. Hopefully, I don't lose both.

There comes a point when, having mastered bushcraft skills well beyond most experts, one can walk comfortably into the woods with only red panties, flip-flops, and a couple of fixed blades.
This zen-like state only comes after years of study, and few ever manage to attain this inner peace and sheer confidence. These "Woods Walkers," as they're known in the bushcraft circles, are true outdoors ninjas.

LOL BTW I got my nickname from my neighbors who would see, "that guy with the dog walking in the woods every day." I could have used "guy with the dog," as a handle but it doesn't sound right.

Guyon, ya gotta understand, the photos of Cap'ns friend were not an invitation for EVERYONE to start takin' it off...

I saw an Alice pack and a boy scout style mess kit in the beginning of the thread. a Trangia spirit burner with winter attachment will fit inside the Boy scout cup (witch makes a very good measuring cup more then it does a coffee mug). The boyscout mess kit and a coghlan sterno stove with your knife spoon fork kit will fit inside a saw ammo pouch like the one made by Spec-Ops brand (you can find some of the older colors like OD green and woodland on sale or clearance).

My spec ops Saw M249 od green 200 round pouch carries my mess kit with trangia spirit burner with winter attachment and camp/pack sponge. My Coglan sterno stove (works good with the Trangia burner), my German Utensil kit a small bottle of camp soap and a Natit/esbit stove with fuel. It connects to my Alive pack, my LBV, my molle gear, and I can rig a shoulder strap to it for solo carry.

The coghlan sterno stove is better then the one made by Sterno even though its heavier. Sterno makes theirs with a simple wire can holder in the bottom where coghlan makes theirs with a true full metal bottom and it works very well with most Spirit burners specially the Trangia. The coghlan is also better if you are in a pinch and need to burn sticks and twigs.

12ga, bottle of scotch and a box of condoms.

What brand of scotch? Because there is certainly a difference between living scotch and surviving scotch. For example does it come in a glass bottle with a 30 year label stamped on it, or a one gallon plastic tub with the picture of a cartoon character.

I'm adding vodka, vermouth, and this kit to my Load Out.
No sense in suffering when you can suffer in style.

This and a camera case should get you out of any situation.

You think I'm kidding, but just wait till we paddle again. Me and Kay are getting the martini glasses. Trade, you'll have to snort your vodka out of a Swedish folding cup. :D

Trot line, scope compatable Ruger Mk II, BK-10, Canteen + cup + stove, salt, electrolytes, $1,000 small bills, $1,000 US Silver coins, poncho, hammock, fire steel, socks, Iodine water treatment, 550 cord, sewing kit, .22 cal ballast.

this set up gets me to a larger pack with additional equipment.
