whats your recommendation on a good knife for a lady??

My wife carries a Northwoods Stag Half-Congress and a Spydero Kerambit, BTW. And she stole my Mora Clipper.

I agree that you should let her pick her own knife. However, I would steer her away from the dreaded pink. My wife was sold on pink until I explained that a knife is a serious tool and should not look like a toy (just like a gun). As such, she has purchased knives with more "traditional" colors.

What? you're saying my pink hammer isn't a serious tool? :D

BK9 and if nothing else she will scare him to death ~~~ or better yet a Pink Mini Grip ! Easy to open and 'close'.!

My girl has a few(not many) knives and likes colors but it isn`t a big deal to her. She likes some of the smaller Kershaw assisted knives but they quickly felt too small for her, now she uses her Delica most and Ka-Bar ZK Kharon Tanto Folder a larger toxic green lockback. I would say find many pics of good quality knives that are close in size to some you own so she can pick the one she likes and have a size in mind.

My wife carries a Benchmade Kulgera. My mother carries a Spyderco Dragonfly, and my daughter carries a Spydero Delica.

Give her some guidance about what makes a quality knife (materials, construction, etc.) then show her some pics and get her what she chooses.

I got mine a royal blue Protech Runt. It's a CA legal switchblade with lotsa torque.

thanks guys and gals for all your input. i will let her see some of my knives and let here choose what style she likes.

My wife loves her pink Kershaw Leek. For working on heavier stuff Kershaw Needs Work.

As a woman I found it difficult to find a knife. There are a lot of options out there, but there are a few things to keep in mind when buying a knife for a woman. Women's jean/pant pockets are too damn small! The average woman's pockets can only hold up to a small sabenza sized knife.

Now for me personally, I started out with a Spyderco Dragonfly, and within a couple months I moved up to a Spyderco Military and Strider AR.

You might wanna have her watch a few knife reviews on Youtube because it'll help her visualize carrying it etc. I suggest you watch a guy named Neptuneknives. He explains a lot of knives pros and cons, and shows how to care for the knife, etc. He even explains what knives are better suited for women that want just a little knife to throw in their purse or pocket and not have to worry about maintaining it. You might also want to cheack out another youtube guy named Oromoto, who owns like every knife on the market. These two guys along with a few other people's videos that are linked to their pages helped me find the knife that best suited my lifestyle and I think they will help your friend too.

I would say show her some photos of knives and let her decide what SHE likes.

Also, I would add, let her hold them if at all possible.

Often I see a knife and think I will like it, but when I get a chance to hold it or use it, I hate it.

Same goes for the ladies.

purple, pink, yellow or other collor of Victorinox classis or signature... i've gave half of dozzens of the to my good friens (ladies) and they're all loving them...
