What's your telltale way of knowing sharp?

When I cut myself without knowing it, it’s sharp enough.

Is that just laying the tube flat and cutting through it? I haven't seen that one.

Kind of a crappy set of visuals. If I can push cut through the TP roll without touching it with anything other than the edge - it’s sharp.

Thanks. It's late, and I'm bored, so if I can clear a toilet paper roll I will give it a try. Ambition is a good thing.
