When did you decide to join the family?

i was in the market for a 7" fixed blade to replace a worn out but functional kbar. found a green beret new for $250, could not pass it up. then i ordered the leather sheath which is quite well made, except for the belt loop button. mine kept coming off so i jb-welded the button shut...i keep mine for late nights at remote boat ramps where i feel the handgun is not necessary
