1st Winner: Hickory n steel -S&M Barlow

2nd winner: TheFactor- GEC 71

Had the second draw to give everyone two chances, as the original winner.

Congratulations!

Given the amount of GAWs and the current East Coast weather, I thought the title fitting.

Ive been meaning to have this GAW for a few weeks, to show my appreciation for the members, information and selfless examples of kindness Ive witnessed in my short time on The Porch. Now seems as good a time as any.

This will be my first GAW..and only recently been involved in the couple of late, in this sub..so, I dont really know what Im doing:)

Id like to do it fairly quickly and pick a winner on this Sunday.

Rules? I dont know. Id like the knife go to someone who will use and not sell, and that have some time on The Porch.

I've altered the conditions of the GAW requirements, no post count needed. I did this for members who might be just short on posts as well as potentially encouraging others to the platform. Still require a picture of a user traditional. 1 entry per member. Ill random generate a number this Sunday evening at Midnight EST and announce the winner.

Not as nice as some of the recent GAW offerings, but it is a cool blade.

Schatt & Morgan Grand Daddy Barlow. Unused in black micarta covers. Blades are centered w/ some very slight wobble on main.

Added pic to show the size of this behemoth.. Compared to an #81 Moose and a 3.5" S+H gunstock

I'll gladly be the first to enter this GAW, beautiful prize! I'm also on the East Coast, Central Pa, so I can relate to the title, haha. Luckily I live on a pretty steep ridge, so I don't have to worry about the flash flooding as much as some other areas around me.

This is my most used/carried traditional, a 73 Trapper in Cocobolo. I've been carrying some of my newer additions lately, but this fella still finds his way into my pocket.

Thank you for the opportunity!

That's a gorgeous knife , I feel it would be be an insult not to throw in an entry.

Here's a two blade user of mine that also has some play in the main blade.
It's pretty severe in this knife yet going unnoticed during use, so I'm sure the slight play in the S&M would go less noticed still.

I don't yet own anything made by Queen Cutlery either so it would make such a knife even more cool, beyond how beautiful it is.

Very nice GAW and knife but not an entry, as an Old Sweat I think newer members need a chance at it before me

Congratulations on your first giveaway Patrick. That's a very fine-looking knife there :) I agree with Will (below) though, so good luck everyone, and thanks again
