When It Rains It Pours GAW ☆Winner announced☆

I’m in, thanks. This is not my user, this old Remington was my grandfather’s. He passed away about 50 years ago.

I already said I’m in for this one, but I’d just like to add thumbs up for the no post requirement for entry. I don’t qualify for some gaw’s because even though I’m on here often, I don’t post a lot. There are a lot of knowledgeable guys on here who often beat me to it, (and do a better job than I would, lol!)

DSCN0081.JPG I'm in and thanks for the opertunity on such a very cool Granddaddy Barlow there, Patrick!. Have an old 1930's Remington #R6504 pen knife here. It's my treasured Sunday-go-to-meet'in carry. I thought it appropriate since the drawing will be on Sunday.. :cool:990585053_tp.jpg remington pen4.jpg

I'm in too, please & thank you. Would love to carry a worker Barlow.

Here is my contribution photo - This is a knife that is rarely in my pocket but ALWAYS in my tool tote and near my work bench.
Gets called in for all kinds of duty. Today - transplant day in the "garden" :D

Thanks again!

Oh man, that’s a beauty. I’ve been away from the porch for most of the last year and it’s nice to see some new members and the GAW tradition going strong. I am not worthy of entry based on my time away but I want to congratulate you on your generosity.

I'm in. Thank you for the chance. I don't post here but it's the first sub I read and I love it !

For some reason this old girl ends up in my pocket and is my daily user ! I have other knives but she's the one that's never let me down.
Thank you again.

It’s such a cool knife, I guess I have to get in. The Okapi Biltong is one of my favorite users, because of the sheepsfoot blade, and because it is so light and cheap.

On the other hand, I have not really bonded with the similarly-sized Genet, possibly because it duplicates the function of an Opinel 6 or 7, both of which I carry often. It feels like a small paring knife, except it’s a folder.

Icky Thump Icky Thump that is very generous of you to include me. Certainly been around BF a while, just haven't been a huge participant in this sub. But sincerely, thank you.
I love my IMPERIAL Barlow.

Btw Grandaddy barlows are actually the XL sized Barlows, the jackmasters aren't Grandaddy's.
I know Colonial made a Grandaddy Barlow but I'm not sure Imperial ever did.

Or... a Barlow belonging to an actual grand daddy could be considered a grand daddy barlow, no? ;)

Thank you all for the kind words, this is my pleasure.

Have had much help and fellowship in my short time here..just a little show of appreciation.

We're about 3hrs from the draw.

Extremely generous GA Patrick. Was hoping I hadn't missed my chance at that beautiful knife. This as been my long weekend at work and I've been trying to get a picture up for two days. This is my user Robeson boys knife that is going to be a project knife for me in the coming weeks. I'll be sharing the results (hopefully good:D) as soon as it's done.IMG_4467.PNG
