When Knives go BAD ! - your accident...

Lots of cool pus and some great scabs with that one! At least it has an
upside! LOL!:D

I actually cut the tip of my right thumb off a few months ago doing my best impression of an Iron Chef. It was with a good Chefs knife so at least the wound was clean. They actually glued the piece back on and I had to wear a splint for a bit. I thought the whole deal was uneccessary but my wife wigged out and ran me to the ER.

I really thought i would have nothing to add to this thread, but today i tried to shave some stuble next to my sideburn with my new spyderco native, well it shaved the hair and put a nice little nick in my cheek:o

Days 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10. Why does the human body take so long to close up and heal a cut? What is the purpose of such slow healing?

Walking down the stairs when I was around 8 or 9 with an manicure kit. The cuticle knife(which looked like a little wharncliffe)fell out of the kit, landed on the step tip up just as I stepped down on it. I sat down on the stairs and stared at about 3 inches of that knife sticking out of the top of my foot. That one really did hurt.
