When people criticize how to spend money

Hmm. I know that the money I spend on knives is crazy, so I am not the least bit defensive when someone gawks. ;)

If someone is rude enough to criticize, I disregard and get away from the person. It is a rare occurrence.
 
Just smile, look them straight in the eye, and say, "Sonny boy, this here is 'Merica. I can do what I please with my money that I earned. Robert E. Lee and Jesus said so in the Constitution. Have a nice day".

Or you can do what the other guys said, and say "because I want to". I mean, whatever works for you.
 
Kind of hard for them to be critical when you don't tell them, ain't it? I don't advertise how much I spend, because it's my business. Only me, the lady, and whatever poor sap at the IRS that reviews my taxes after filing know what I spend.
