In the last punisher movie they just grabbed off the shelf knives, and good ones at that! (Strider, Emerson, Benchmade). IMHO making a knife for a movie is just an attempt to generate further profits.

Yeah the Hoffman looks great however the other one looks ridiculous. I like a usable point on my blades. I have no use for any kind of edge on the back of the blade, I do not normally baton but I would end up cutting myself when I choke up. I guess I am just not hard core enough.

MAKING A MOVIE is just an attempt to generate further profits. Nothing wrong with that. Nothing wrong with even Hollywood encouraging custom knifemakers, either.

I liked the trench knife he claims has been to Iraq and afganistan. I thought those knives where outlawed by the geneva convention.
