Never had one, always admired them, cept for the price. Besides eBay and on BF, where are you guys buying these knives - and which is your favorite..? :D

a lot of people buy their striders here on the forums, some order from strider, some order from custom shops like truenorthknives.

reputable dealers in my experiences:

truenorthknives.com
tadgear.com
mattdtactical.com
plazacutlery.com
bluelinegear.com
s4supply.com

you'll do well on the "for sale" forums on bladeforums.com too.

ive bought from plaza cutlery a couple times (in person), and bought my sng from la police gear. again, i went in person and picked out the one i wanted.

the other places midget recommends are all very reputable.

also consider:

arizona custom knives
nordic knives
steel addiction

but by far the best place to get one at below retail is on the exchange here.

I buy most all mine at gpknives.com
They are a real store that have a great rep, and real nice to deal with.

I bought my Strider PT from TAD Gear. But, I would buy them from TNK. My favorite IS the PT.

Now that the good recommendations are in, some unnecessary grammar lessons.

Strider.

SnG.

Note the precise spelling, please, its not texting to your buds in study hall. I really don't care if you misspell any of it - but it immediately marks a poster as unknowledgeable and potentially miscasts their actual intellectual ability. That works against your credibility, which is entirely up a poster to protect.

As a semi-permanent historical record, forums leave footprints of their users travels. Spiderco, Benchmaid, Bussey, and others don't seem too common - why make Strider users appear illiterate? I can assure you they are just as talented as a Sebinza owner.

Ess Enn Gee is a good knifes

I've been checking the Strider site periodically for the past year and it always says that their online store is temporarily down. I don't think being down for over 6 months is "temporary".

Beginning of the year I ordered a BT and then a PT from Matt D Tactical. Service was exemplary on both occasions. I’d happily buy from him again.

I bought a PT from Plaza about a month ago.Last week I got a SNG green stonewash from TNK. Both places were great.
I had to wait for the PT but TKN had them in stock.

These types of thread (advice on where to buy) belong in GB&U.

Please read the sticky at the top of General.

Has anyone had any dealings with www.monkeydepot.com ? They have a fairly large selection of Strider knives, but I can't find much about them or their customer service. I am in no way associated with the aforementioned company, they just have a Strider or 4 that I am interested in. Thank you in advance gentlemen.

ironic that you have an incomplete sentence in your unecessary grammar lesson.

I have successfully ordered Strider SNG CC with USPS shipping to Ukraine from this guys. Knife was shipped fast... nothing more to add :)

lol, i always find it amazing when folks correct others spelling, grammer, etc then have mistakes of their own in the post they are correcting the others in, if i was gonna do that (& i dont ever do that this is hardly an english comp paper) i would make sure that post was 100% correct because if it isnt it makes ya look foolish.

just a thought folks, just a thought.

i have had 8 or 10 striders and i got all of them from this forum, mostly thru swaps.
