Where are you from?

Come visit in July. Like I said in the other thread, we have two seasons, Winter and Swamp. Swamp is short, but often brutal. When I got married, it was July 7th, and it was 105F with 95% humidity  I can only drink so much beer and remember my vows.

This summer has been oddly pleasant.
Sounds like Ft. Leonard Wood. I had to do a demo there in full MOP gear...in AUGUST. I wish I still worked west of the Mississippi, as I would absolutely pay you a visit, In February.

I wish I lived west of the Mississippi. I can handle 100 degrees just fine at 10% humidity. But even 85 degrees at 90% I find absolutely miserable.

You wouldn't like South Carolina very much then. We usually get "swamp" weather here 9 months a year..

Sorry to say, but MD in the summer can be a brutal humid disaster.
it's been pleasant so far though. It's looking to be humid in the 90s next week however, just in time for my week at Boy Scout Summer camp with 30+ crazed youngsters.

Move to Montana.... We don't know what humidity is. Blade show killed me. I was walking around in a vest to cover up the skunk strip on my back.

born in London
as a child lived in London, New Delhi, and Toronto
but last 38 yrs in Los Angeles

and if someone can tell me a place that isn't so leftist that has the same type of golfing weather, I'd be happy to move there :)

@HSC,

It's called Florida outside of the large cities. Cost of living is lower too.

Portland,Oregon here,Born &Raised
gods country and knife factory Mecca, weather is a bit nuts but love it:)

Lake County, California. Largest fresh water lake in the state that few people have heard of lol. Right up against a huge national forest and about an hour until you hit the Redwoods. Great place if it weren't for all the tweakers being shipped in from San Quentin.

Yeah the ladies up here do yoga:

HSC/// Kern Co leans way more to the right. Just a few months in winter time up here in Tehachapi that ya'd have to pretend you're playing golf in Scotland. We do have Stallion Springs.
Where are you sir horse riding ..
it like awesome place for riding

Central Wisconsin. We rarely have to run A/C more than a week in summer. You can pretty much
shoot it, catch it, or grow it to live.
Ken.

Santa Fe, New Mexico. Those of you having issues with high humidity should come check us out. It stays about 10% for most of the year.
