One of my favorite places to visit....Still has a Downtown with Old Mining town feel....Then head up to Pinos Altos to the Buckhorn for a meal...And of course there is no Low Like the Buffalo!!!!

I spent twenty years at Powhatan VA until I retired from my first career. I then moved back to the Blue Ridge Mountains where I was from. This pile of rocks is called Ravens Roost on Frazier Mountain, a part of the National Park Service now. My father and his immediate family were the last to live there before the NPS was formed. I lived on the other side of the foot of the mountain for the past almost-twenty years to be close to "home".

Throughout my childhood, she told me stories about going to Yankee Stadium and watching the likes of Berra and DiMaggio. Sounds like the Bronx was a great place to grow up in the 1940s and '50s.

Northwest Kansas, about 10 miles from Nebraska and 60+ from the nearest Walmart. From bigger cities, it’s about 5 hours to KC and 5 hours to Denver.

and I must say I really haven’t seen a ton of specific only knife shows... and at the local gun shows in Phoenix/ Mesa I see just lots of tables setup with custom made knives... sad thing is I don’t even see booths for knife making supplies and blanks etc.. use to be but maybe I’m blind and just don’t see them at the gun shows anymore like before
