Does anyone know where I can order a Bark River Knife: Vest Pocket Bowie with the Whitetail Crown Pinless Handle?

The thing to realize is tha Bark River produces their knives in a cyclic manner and does not keep all their models in production constantly. They seem to generally produce a batch of a particular knife model around once every 12 months or so. Knives Ship Free and Crystal Falls Trading Company seem to be the biggest retailers of Barkies, and neither of them currently have that particular model/handle combo in stock.

There is a post by Mike Stewart of BRKT on another forum listing all his retailers. You might try searching through them to try and find the combo you are looking for. Otherwise, you might just need to search the third party market (eBay and the For Sale by Individual section of this forum, for instance).

If nothing turns up there, you may just be stuck waiting for the next batch of Vest Pocket Bowies to be produced possibly some time next year. :(

My information could be out of date, but at one point Bark River would swap the handles on a knife if someone wanted different ones. I have no idea what the cost was - I assume it depended on the handle material. The reason I mention this is just in case you can find the knife, but not with the handles you want - it doesn't sound like the most common version. If it can be done, the dealer might be willing to handle things for you, including getting a price quote for the rehandling, then sending it in to get the work done.
