Where did your screen names come from?

Thanks for the link frankjuka. That explains why I couldn't find it on their website. It wasn't what I was expecting but it's a very interesting design. I really like the spork and the Chongs. Cool stuff.

Initials as well. BTW, Brisket, that's a really pretty Great Pyrennees you have there. My parents have one that is a carbon copy named 'Bear'.

"Look, let me explain something to you. I'm not Mr. Lebowski. You're Mr. Lebowski. I'm the Dude. So that's what you call me. That, or His Dudeness … Duder … or El Duderino, if, you know, you're not into the whole brevity thing." A Big Lebowski quote.

I thought duder was cooler than just calling someone dude, so I started calling all my drinking buddies duder. Well, I guess they all thought it fit me better cause now, Duder is what I'm known as around the camp fire.

Faiaoga means "schoolteacher" in Samoan. I was a Peace Corps volunteer in Western Samoa, lived in the village there and still speak the language.

'Tis my name, stv comes from steve which is identical to my most used email though I also have a steve and stevenpourciau@gmail.com that filter into the same place.

I give them out interchangeably depending on how formal I need to be or how intelligent the receiver is or how well they can understand my accent with letters..

Mine is based on an incident tracking a Russian fast attack sub off Bermuda in the 80's when I was USN, straight out of a Tom Clancy novel. Many know about the Cuban missile crises in 62' and how close we came, and maybe some of my Army compatriots stationed in Germany in Aug of 1984 could attest, but due to some very strong paranoia on the Soviet side a shooting war came close to hand. I will just say that I believe the opening salvos would have been in the North Atlantic.

Didnt we a Naval Spy Admiral in the 80's that gave info on entire fleets to the rooskies?

Well mine is pretty self explanatory....if you're a RUSH fan and recognize what my avatar symbolizes. I originally used my first initial and last name but wanted something unique when I went for Gold Membership. Caress of Steel (the third studio album by Canadian rock band Rush) was based on the fact that myself and probably most knife enthusiasts like to "caress" their knives (made of steel).

John

My friends in high school started calling me sleasy e. my first name is Eric. My first car was a 1997 Nissan 240sx and the chassis code is s14.

Take a guess.
Hint: It's got something to do with how I pay the bills. :very_drunk:

During my 20's I loved to collect Sig Sauer pistols and just changed the spelling to match the pronunciation. Funny thing is I sold my very last Sig over 20 years ago but the name stuck.

My screen name has been in use since about 1992, based upon myself being an NRA Master Marksman in High Power Service Rifle.
I'm always zereoed in for the X hence zeroed4x.

Yellow on the outside, white on the inside... Unfortunately majority of the women I've dated had more body hair than me...

;)I had just started working for CRK and customers would ask about something that was discussed on Bladeforums. I decided to register so I could be better informed but all the names I tried were taken. I was getting frustrated - it was taking longer than expected to find something. I had a whole cabinet of A2 knives I needed to clean and box before the day was out. So blade2klean I became, although it’s pretty easy to discover my real identity. 
